Ideally situated near Park Lane bus station (2 min walk) Sunderland City Art Store offers a wide range of goods and supplies to the artist - be it an oil painter to card crafter. I didn't have much of a look around at what was on offer as I was only really interested in hobby sized paintbrushes (small 000-2 or 3) and some of the acrylic mediums- of which they have a good supply and variety from budget to top of the range.Was a bit disappointed that they don't stock Winsor & Newton -especially the No.7 series. I also noticed that they offer a picture framing service that seems to be quite popular. Friendly helpful staff make this a nice shopping experience. I am going back in a few hours to pick up another brush...or maybe two! More...
