If I could give Fox Photography more stars I would. I have a VERY fearful dog and Michelle from the team came to photograph him and did an amazing job. Giving him his space he needed to get used to her and then taking amazing shots afterwards. She was so calm with him despite him jumping up and trying to get attention. She kept him at ease and got him to SIT STILL for some really wonderful shots. I've never been able to find a photographer that will do animal shoots for fearful and reactive dogs, but they were up to it right away. They had his best interest ahead of everything else and took their time with him. They also own their own dogs and understand how to interact with them. Overall such a great team. Fox photography shot our wedding (May 2019) and engagement photos, and they are just absolutely AMAZING!! Professional, reliable, easy to work with, amazing at what they do, and Michelle and Dan are just two of the nicest people you'll meet. Out of all our vendors, Fox Photography was the one we knew we wouldn't have to worry about. I was extremely picky when looking for a wedding photographer--after all, that is one thing you'll keep forever after the big day. I searched through dozens of photographers and their portfolios, and then I came across Fox Photography. The quality of their photos are top notch--everything is crystal clear (you'd be surprised how many professional photographers I found who didn't have crisp photos), and the editing style is timeless and classic. They also have full albums on their site, which shows the consistency of their work. I can go on and on about their photos but you can see them for yourselves. During the engagement shoot, they genuinely made us laugh and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which made for some real laughing photos. If you are camera shy or don't know where to place your hands, don't worry you will be in good hands if you choose them. On our wedding day, they captured all the photos we wanted and more! We loved seeing photos of small details and of our guests that we didn't even see them take. Overall I couldn't recommend them enough. Fox Photography is just amazing. They also shot two of our other friend's weddings. I honestly felt like we lucked out with finding them, especially on such short notice as we planned our whole wedding in 5 weeks. Our wedding was small but each vendor was special to us, or at least special to me in that I felt they were a perfect fit to the whole intimate experience that we wanted for the day. Dan and Michelle (photographers), were just two of the sweetest people who kept us laughing the whole time we were taking pictures and were able to capture many of the great moments with our family members throughout the day. We didn't do an engagement shoot, so the wedding day was the first time we ever went through a photography session, but they made it really easy. By the end of the day, they were an extension of our family, and it was really sad to see them go as we carried on. Prior to the actual wedding day, I found them super responsive and helpful with guiding me on what they needed from us, explaining how the photography part of the day typically goes. I'm just in love with their style of photography. I followed them on social media just prior to the wedding and even after our own, and you can tell that they really try to find unique photo opportunities outside of the usual shots to capture each couple's unique story. Fox Photography is the best! We first met them for our engagement photos back in January of 2015, and we were so pleased with their work that we invited them to Chicago to take pictures of our Wedding. My husband and I recently did our maternity shoot with Michelle and Dan. We loved the effort and passion they have put into our photoshoot. Not only were they professional, but they were also very patient and helpful in the style and choices of the photos that we would like to present in our maternity shoot (even down to the smallest detail of our clothes to bring out the aesthetic of our photos!) When we weren't sure or couldn't decide what we'd like to entail in our photoshoot, they would send samples and websites for us to get a sense of which direction we'd like to take. We've always touched base with each other on all kinds of details so that we could capture the essence of the photoshoot that we want. We really, really, really appreciated their help because our final product was wonderful! Dan & Michelle are absolutely wonderful. My husband and I are not photogenic people, and don’t particularly enjoy being infront of the camera. We were worried we would feel uncomfortable when we booked our engagement shoot, however we felt the exact opposite! Dan & Michelle are so easy to be around, they are funny, easy going, give direction well, and are super professional. They made us feel at ease, and made even the most awkward feeling photograph look absolutely stunning. Their quality of photos and eye for detail capture the most amazing images. We received our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos back in a very reasonable amount of time!
The day went by so quickly and I was worried we would miss out on photos, or not capture the moments we wanted . You don’t realize how many photos they actually take throughout the whole wedding, and when we got them back, we were so happy to see all of the photos captured that we didn’t realize they took. The photos of me and my husband and our wedding party are spectacular. There is the perfect blend of romance and fun which fits us perfectly! They also had many photos of our guests enjoying the night, and candid moments which were very important to us.
Having two photographers was a must-have for us, and they couldn’t make a better team. Their communication and flexibility was excellent.

Michelle and Dan were the very first wedding vendors we booked and they quickly set the bar for what we looked for in the rest of vendors! Not loving photographs of ourselves, we were super nervous going into our engagement shoot but they were so genuinely interested in us and our story and really took the time to get to know us (and our cats!). Our wedding day with them was nothing short of amazing. It's such an intimate day with much of it spent exclusively with photographers and we loved how comfortable it was and that we truly felt like we were spending our time with a couple of friends who just happened to be taking photos of us.
Our wedding photos are incredible - every sneak peak Michelle sent me took my breath away and the full set had us in tears. Michelle and Dan were absolutely amazing. We didn't meet them in person until the wedding day (our choice) and we were so impressed. They were incredibly down-to-earth, fun, professional, easy-going, kind, polite, and so very talented! While they have their beautiful style and creativity, they also made sure they followed our shot list. I knew when I found them online that they were perfect; I adored their style and loved that they love animals as much as I do; you know you can trust an animal lover! Dan and Michelle exemplify what it means to be professional, friendly, and passionate photographers. Working with them was an incredible experience, and you'll feel like you're working with long time friends. I can't emphasize their personality enough, because on the big day, it can be extremely busy and stressful, and knowing you have such easy going and relaxed photographers really puts you at ease. Soon after getting engaged, on top of my to do list was getting amazing photographers. I knew I wanted to invest in quality wedding photos because after all, they do last a lifetime. I came across Fox Photography on The Knot and The Wedding Wire, browsed their site to check out their style and fell in love with their work. I started talking to Michelle and adored her personality. It was then that I knew my partner and I HAD to book with them. My partner and I had our engagement shoot with Michelle and it was an absolute pleasure. All the details leading up to the engagement shoot (e.g., location, outfit, etc.), Michelle kept up with my millions of emails. At the shoot, Michelle made suggestions which was great considering my fiance and I are not professional posers. Best of all, the photos were stunning.
