Holistic Counseling
Holistic Counseling is based on a person centered approach. The use of unconditional positive regard builds trust between the individual and the Practitioner. Complete transparency requires the client to be responsible for his/her own actions. The healing process is accomplished through goals set by the client, with guidance from the counselor to achieve the necessary lifestyle changes. The individual's issues are resolved through actions instead of medications.
Lifestyle Changes
Many individuals in today's society are "out of balance". Overeating, lack of effective exercise, Sleep issues, and public opinion about ideal appearance cause a state of unbalance. All of these influence self esteem. Optimum health requires homeostasis or balance in all areas of an individual's life. To get into a state of homeostasis lifestyle changes are essential. Sudden, complete changes in habits are seldom successful. A set of goals working toward the necessary changes along with education about making positive lifestyle choices will result in good overall health. Working toward these changes in a steady progression will build new habits that can last a lifetime.
Rune Readings (Divination)
Runes are a method of divination which has been handed down to us from the ancient Norse and Viking cultures. They are a set of 24 tiles from the old Norse alphabet called the Elder Futhark carved on each tile. In addition to being a letter, each symbol has a metaphysical aspect. The runes will reveal a glimpse of the future. This allows an individual to be able to make lifestyle changes which will either alter or maintain the path of their future.
Workshops (educational and Metaphysical)
Workshop are classes that focus on specific topics. Class size will be limited 5 individuals per workshop.
Workshops will be created as the need arises.
