Karea has done portraits for the Sims family for several different occasions. It was after I saw photos from my now sister-in-law’s wedding that I was sold on her work. I didn’t want anyone else to capture my husband and my special day. From consultation to the day of the wedding coming together full-circle, Karea was a professional in every sense of the word. She was accommodating to my schedule, flexible, and intentional about catering to the needs of the bride and groom. Karea is such a joy to work with. She has true talent and a real eye for the details. We keep going back to her for all the major events in our life because of her skills and she is so fun to be around. During photo shoots, she is thorough and detail oriented. Wow...I really can't say enough great things about Karea and her photography. I searched and searched for just the right photographer (the right looks, vision, etc. ) within a reasonable price point. I fell in love with Karea's ability to make bland/distracting backgrounds into beautiful backdrops, and her use of light and color. From the beginning, Karea was incredibly professional, prompt in responses and attentive to understanding who my husband and I were and what we wanted. She was willing to travel to MD for the event, and her pricing is all inclusive. She also works with couples to ensure that their budget is respected--so many other photographers told me one price, then re-quoted something completely different once they started talking to us. Karea and her husband showed up on time, with enthusiasm and were complete professionals. They worked with the bad weather, cluttered/dark settings and a husband who was a bit camera shy. They captured the essence of emotions throughout the entire event, and even suggested some poses and locations that turned out to be stunning shots. The final results wowed us, and we are so grateful we chose her company to capture our special day. I can't wait to share the photos with my family...and am trying to come up with another event that she can photograph! Highly recommend! More...
