We entered a UKC Nosework Trial this weekend. July 6-7,2019. When we entered I knew we could have hot weather. With crating inside an air conditioned building, I thought our dogs would do alright for Exteriors and Vehicles if I put booties on their feet. I was totally blown away yesterday, the Trial host bought indoor outdoor carpet for the exterior search area to protect dogs feet. Way beyond expectations. Kudos to Nancy Reyes! More...

Thank you “For Your K9, Inc.” for a truly fun day at your fun match this morning. The atmosphere was so warm and friendly, I wish I could of stayed longer. My wife has been going here for many many years. It's a great sport/hobby to get into with your dog or like my wife dogs. Scent work and training with your dog can be so rewarding . We’ve been coming here for 12 years. Started with agility classes and as our dog aged we enrolled in nosework. Instructors are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and know how to make training fun. I've brought my dogs to FYK9 (on and off admittedly,) for almost 2 years, for a variety of classes, and each trainer and every lesson has been as enriching for me as they've been for my dogs! I have had many dogs in the past in training and this is the best facility I have ever found. We trained our puppy with Debbie and found the class to be very helpful and greatly appreciated her knowledge and skill. Our other dog comes to Barnhunt with Melanie and LOVES IT! She gets so excited when we get ready to go she can barely contain herself. Melanie is so patient, skilled and easy going she makes the experience wonderful for the owners too. This is my Clumber Spaniels’ favorite place in Chicago and maybe the reason I dont want to move. Nancy Reyes and the other nose work trainers like Jill Synder are probably among the best out there- anywhere.

Absolutely love it there and so does my 9month husky/pit mix! We've taken basic, and beyond the basics with Debbie! She really broke it down to work with dogs at every skill level and helped me and other owners learn to create better bonds with our dogs and tune our training techniques to be more successful! ! I'm already registered for my next 2 classes! Can't wait to start "circus school for dogs" and after that we start our next round of "beyond basics", to further refine and advance our obedience skills! I've talked with many other trainers and facilities and nothing compares to the trainers at for your k9! I love For Your K9. My dog and I have been coming here since Jan 2016 and the trainers have been amazing. They use positive reinforcement and really teach you to work with your dog. We first started taking agility, then it became obedience, day care, swim lessons, and much more. This place offers so much and I highly recommend them!
