This has been in our neighborhood for a minute and we've talked about going in and trying it. For our New Year's eve we decided to go and check this place out I am so glad that we did! This place is small but it's very nice clean and the staff is really kind. We took our six-year-old daughter with us to dinner and they were as attentive to her as they were to us which made me smile. I don't know the waiter's name that assisted us but he was very kind and made sure that we were taking care of the entire time we were there. Now, the food, it was delicious everything that they served was impeccable. I am excited to go back and treat my sons to dinner there. We returned for NYE dinner and everything was just as good as the first time. Actually the pork parmesan was super tender and yummy today as well as the beef and pork rib. Just like the first visit the house special was still my favorite cut, other than the cheese bread. As usual the customer service was on point considering it was a holiday. I made a 6:30pm reservation and got seated promptly. The restaurant was surprisingly still emptish when we first arrived, so we got dibs on all the meat offerings as they came out from the kitchen. ...two of my favorite things ...AYCE, and meat lol.  FYI.  The lunch menu has less item options than the dinner menu.  Pricing is also accordingly different. You can't go wrong with this place if you're a carnivore.  I had so much beef and chicken that I'm practically a mother clucking cow.  I love how they have people coming to your table to serve you meat dish after meat dish.  Its just an endless holiday parade of Mooooooooo and I was waiting for them to run out of food but it just kept on comin.  I prefer the dinner menu for sure as it has way more items and highly recommend shelling a little extra for dinner as opposed to lunch.  Their meat is high quality, juicy, tasty, savory, and all of the above.  It will surely fill you up and the service is on point.  You flip you're 'I'm hungry' card up and they come running.  I can guarantee you'll never leave this place hungry.  2 yumz up for sure.  Get a mooooo-ve on and try this place out for yourself. Tried this place out for my dads birthday a few weeks ago and it didn't disappoint at all. We came in with a reservation for 10 and was sat down immediately. Our server brought out the bananas and cheese ballThing which we're both really good. Their starters buffet area was bit small and not much to select from compared to other places I've been too. But onto the important part, the meats! The garlic steak was flavorful and tender. The skirt steak was so tender and juicy. The beef ribs were my favorite they were tender and melty. The bacon wrapped steak was ok, a tad dry but still good. Top sirloin was juicy and flavorful. The pork options, I didn't really care for as they were a bit on the fatter side. Not a fan of lamb so didn't try that. The grilled pineapples were bomb only when it was on the grilled part. Dined here for a triple birthday celebration last night. It was a Sunday night, so we had the full rodizio at ~$45/person. Although the food was amazing, the truly best part of this restaurant is their very friendly and accommodating staff.We were served appetizers of the Brazilian cheese bread and fried bananas (so good, we asked for more), and munched on a bit of the salad, making sure to save room for all the meats.The process is easy. You are given a card with a red side and a green side. You turn it over to the green side if you want to be served meat, and red if you want to take a break or if you're done eating.The servers walk around with different cuts of meat and grilled pineapple, and you decide if you want a slice or not. Everything was amazing and cooked to perfection, although if you're one of those monstrous people who prefer anything past medium-rare, you might have a "just okay" time. The medium-rare cuts were the juiciest.I had fasted for 20 hours prior to this meal, so when the chicken hearts came around, I unashamedly (and jokingly) asked for ALL of them. All 17 hearts on the stick. And he gave them to me!!! Top-notch service.The night ended with slices of chocolate cake with candles for the birthday celebrants, and full bellies all around. Overall, I must say, I completely enjoyed this visit. This place is a very close runner up to a Fogo De Chao and Flame and Fire. With the only complaint of some of the side dish items fell below the level of expectation. The ambiance is nice and very social so the dress expectation is more relaxed. Now the food is very well seasoned and of course very fresh. Now the side items were good, however, I did expect a better selection as with the deserts. Cheese bread was not the best. Super dense and almost hard. Still didn't keep me from eating it. Loved the top sirloin, beef rib, and basically beef anything. I enjoyed the chimichurri sauce which is essential in all churrascarias but BD didn't. The salad bar is meh. I'm only there for the meat, rice, and sauce to be honest. Delicious meat and a nice atmosphere. Fantastic service! I gave four stars because of the price and salad and side bar.  The sides/ salad bar is small and not great, but I didn't come for the salad! Lunch is $15 and dinner is $45. I would totally have weekday lunch here (Saturday's lunch is $30) but not dinner. Great place if you haven't had the chance to try a Brazilian BBQ place. This place has a great selection of meat. Their beef ribs are tender and moist. However, the consistency of the season could use some work. Our first time here we found ourselves having to add a bit of salt and pepper to the meat. If you're in desperate need of protein fix, this is the place for you.  Aside from the service (will get to later.  Evelina was a true gem BTW), this is a great full churrasco experience.  The salad bar has all of the necessities but let's be honest, we are here for the meats.  The picanha is superb.  Wonderfully seasoned and seared.  There are only 6 slices available before it has to get another sear so when you see it, get it.  One slice or two or three or seven in my case.  The bacon wrapped beef and chicken options are fantastic as well.  I can go on all day about the cuts but it would be redundant.  In my opinion, what makes this experience spectacular is the service.  The gauchos are always roaming with an expansive selection and are all very friendly.  When it came to secondary service such as seating us and providing drinks, bread and putting the cherry on top of an amazing experience, we won the lottery but having Evelina take care of us.  Her prompt service was secondary only to the amazing personality, smile, and demeanor she graced us with.  Her drink recommendations were top notch as well.  Just make sure you don't refer to her as Evil-ina at any point otherwise you might catch a little fire in her eyes and some good-hearted sass.  On second thought, get her to bring out the sass.  It just heightens the experience that much more! Shazam!!!! Magically and instantly! This has become my favorite restaurant in Sacramento. Really the Best Restaurant that I've been to in recent memory! . Very personable. Not a over-the-top 5 star, stuffy restaurant with plate appeal but weak serving portions! Plenty of food, excellently prepared and Outstanding presentation. Staff were exceptional, very accommodating and friendly. Our waitress, can't spell her name, was very pleasant. We were celebrating a birthday! I mentioned it when I made the reservations, and our table was set up with a nice candle and flower arraignment. This place was great! Friendly staff, informative, professional.  We stopped in because we had never tried Brazilian food before. We were not disappointed. They kept bringing things out and we could not stop eating even though we were stuffed!The foods with Parmesan cheese were too salty for my liking, but everything else was great!  The pineapple on a spit was the best dessert I have ever eaten. The Brazilian passion fruit tea is to die for! It doesn't need any sweetening at all, it's just perfect as is. I didn't care much for the little round breads they brought out. They were a bit too dry & dense. They're really cute, though! Arrived at 5:30 for dinner on a Wednesday, table for 2, no reservations. No wait and we were seated immediately as we were the first ones there. Gabriela was our waitress and she was the best waitress. The kind of waitress you wish every restaurant had. We were new to the Brazilian steakhouse experience so she was patient and answered any and all questions we had about the food (we had a lot of questions). We tried the Brazilian soda which was interesting and asked if there was a store nearby that sold it. She didn't know the answer  but went to her manager to find out for us. Everytime she checked in on us and filled our drinks, she was always smiling and very kind, so thank you Gabriela! Onto the main course menu: the meat. I'm a carnivore. I ate ALL THE MEAT AND EVERY KIND OF MEAT. If you love meat, this place is Heaven On Earth. I usually go AYCE Korean BBQ or Hot Pot. But this Brazilian Steakhouse has earned a special place in my heart, or should I say stomach. Everything was cooked perfectly the way I wanted it: medium-rare to medium, tender, juicy, and flavorful. Here are my top choices in no particular order: Picahna, Pork Shoulder, Parmesan Pork, lamb, and the beef ribs. I've had beef ribs, but their beef ribs are on another level. I'm going to be dreaming about it for days to come, drooling on my pillow for sure. Dessert: I wish I had more room to order dessert. The items on the dessert menu are separate from the AYCE, so it comes as an extra charge if ordered. The grilled pineapple and fried banana served are included in the AYCE, and it's so darn good! These people just know what they're doing. I got the check and didn't feel a thing about the price. This place is definitely not within my budget to go to all the time. Dinner for 2 came out to about $90. I wanted to try something new and treat myself to something nice, and I got exactly what I wanted. I was not disappointed. The noise level was low. Had the pleasure of visiting Fogo De Minas today.  Make sure you make reservations as a party in front of me was told there wouldn't be room until 8pm mind you this was at 5pm.  Luckily I had reservations and was seated immediately.  The salad bar at FdM is smaller than most Brazilian Steakhouses but the content was good.  I liked the beef stew and crispy shoestring potatoes.Table side sides including delicious cheesy muffins and cinnamon bananas both of these we're scrumptious.  The gaucho parade was fast and furious as we were deluged with meats: bacon wrapped steak, bacon wrapped chicken, garlic steak, flank steak, house special steak, bottom steak, leg of lamb, pork loin, Parmesan pork, pork ribs, pork sausage, chicken thighs, chicken hearts, beef ribs and of course the famous grilled cinnamon pineapple.There was so much food I couldn't even try everything!  The bacon wrapped steak, house special steak, bacon wrapped chicken and bottom steak were my favorites.Desserts are offered separately but the bananas and pineapple were more than enough.  I also tried a Brazilian soda which was like a cherry cream flavor, quite delicious.Overall this place was just as tasty as the big chain Brazilian Steak Houses but fortunately for us it's right here in Sacramento.  Come check them out. Must go!  Arrived on a Wednesday night and was the 4th table sat. Hostess was amazing. She not only sat people but also personally took care of my drink order and closing me out. I would put this place up against the premiere Brazilian Steakhouses. The salad bar had many fresh options however the star of the show are the servers and steak. They were so attentive and the variety of meat was amazing. Garlic steak, cap steak, bacon wrapped sirloin, top sirloin, Parmesan pork, chicken, pork sausage, lamb, cinnamon pineapple, spare ribs and more.   I travel a lot and normally try to avoid Sacramento, but now I have a reason to return.
