I'm an IBS Dietitian specializing in the low FODMAP diet. the low FODMAP diet improves symptoms in over 75% of sufferers. I offer virtual consultations from across the UK using Zoom or WhatsApp. Usually only 2 consultations are necessary.

My appointments with FODMAP Consultancy were extremely useful. I found it helpful and constructive to talk with someone who was highly trained and experienced with all aspects of the Fodmap diet. After having suffered for many years with IBS and having many "accidents" I thought enough was enough. I went to my doctor's and told him of my constant diarrhoea only to be told that as long as I'm not losing weight I shouldn't worry. Well many nights out ruined and holidays cut short I decided to Google my symptoms and I found FODMAP consultancy. She has saved my life, my dignity and given me back my confidence. I'm half way through the program but I am symptom free after four weeks. It's not a diet yet I've lost five pounds, with no bloating, no wind and most of all no "accidents". I can't thank her enough and I'm looking forward to now finding out which foods are the cause of my IBS. Try it for yourself, what have you got to lose. More...

After struggling with IBS for many years I have been amazed by the change that the FODMAP diet has made to me. I’m now able to go out with confidence and while it’s not the easiest plan to follow the results for me were so positive and rapid that I was keen to see the plan through. Meeting Debra has been a life changing experience for me. I had been diagnosed with IBS and suffering its symptoms for over a year. I had heard of Low FODMAP diet, trying to adhere to it in a fashion but frankly getting nowhere. Symptoms remained, in the end I didn’t know what to eat or drink.I found FODMAP Consultancy online and made an appointment to meet Debra. Her knowledge and expertise are profound. We had a detailed meeting and I came away with a plan which I followed religiously over 6-8 weeks. The change in my symptoms was remarkable. I felt so much better. My confidence returned, and although eating out was tricky I soon learned what suited me and was able to enjoy company again. I will now start to reintroduce FODMAPS into my diet over the coming weeks, hoping to isolate the foods which cause problems. Thanks to Debra I am now in control of my food, it does not control me. I’d been struggling with the symptoms of IBS for years, and had little advice from my GP except to take medication 3 times a day. I contacted Debbie after hearing about the FODMAP diet and she met with me to explain the process. From the start Debbie has been incredibly helpful and has made the whole process so much easier. My symptoms are almost completely gone and I have stopped taking my medication. I’m now on the reintroduction phase and working out what foods cause me to have flare ups. Prior to meeting with Debbie my IBS symptoms were affecting me about 2-3 times a week. I tried to identify triggers myself but felt really lost in understanding what was causing my symptoms. It was difficult in work as I had to be careful what I ate and when as I work in the community and symptoms would often come on fast after eating and this also impacted on my personal/social life. My symptoms completely disappeared as soon as I started the low FODMAP plan. I was very strict to adhere to the plan and it has completed changed my life. I no longer have IBS symptoms, I don’t have to worry about what and when I eat and this has positively impacted on my mental health and I no longer worry about sudden symptoms starting. After a few years of eating various foods that made me feel unwell and numerous visits to the GP I decided to contact Fodmap Consultancy in the hope of finding answers. I was diagnosed with IBS last year and the GP just brushed off everything and told me everything was in my head. The GP Provided myself with tablets however I do not want to be on these for the rest of my life being 22 this lady was really helpful and went into depth with everything. I was diagnosed with IBS in 2003. Despite numerous GP visits and no success with any medication prescribed, I came to the conclusion that I would just have to live with the condition and let it control me. I contacted Debbie and within two weeks of starting the FODMAP diet, I was completely symptom free. I initially contacted Debra for help with IBS after a series of unhelpful experiences with my GP. She made initial contact over the phone, helping me to understand her service fully and what this would entail, as well as gathering additional information about myself and my health. I’ve suffered with ibs-c for more than 10 years. I’ve been back and forth my GP countless times only be be prescribed medication that helps with treating the symptoms and nothing to help treat the underlying cause. Debra was recommended to me as she had helped a friend of a friend control their ibs.I made an appointment with Debra and she was so helpful. I came away feeling so relieved that I had finally got the help I needed. I only had two appointments with Debra and my ibs had significantly improved within weeks, just by following her advice. I can not recommend Debra enough. Her advice has been life changing for me. In total I received 3 booklets from Debra that guided me through what I needed to do to help control my ibs. I found Debra to be very professional and efficient, but also friendly and easy to talk to. She provided an excellent service at my first appointment and prior to it, to help me implement a low FODMAP diet as a treatment for my IBS.
