Cathie and Annie were amazing for my daughters cupcake party, looking after 7 5-7 year old kids is not easy but they were kind and helpful and the whole set up was beautiful too. The Flying Pig Cake Emporium made a rainbow cake for my daughter's 21st birthday and they did a wonderful job.
From start to finish it was a delight to deal with Annie and Cathie, who wanted to get the cake exactly to my daughter's wishes. They worked from photo's she sent them and we were absolutely delighted with the result; it was much prettier than the photo's.
The cake inside was a beautiful rainbow of 6 brightly coloured sponges with butter creme in between each layer; the sponges were light and tasty, not too sweet with the icing in between and very even sizes (Mary Berry watch out).
The icing was coloured very delicately to match the sponges and the topping of butter creme 'blobs' with hundreds and thousands in the centre made the whole thing look like a fairytale castle.
Thank you so much ladies, I had one very happy 21 year old and I would highly recommend the Flying Pig Cake Emporium to anybody who wants a cake for an event/special occasion or just a lovely Sunday tea :) xx More...

Annie and Cathie did a wonderful job with my wedding cake. It was even better than I ever imagined and tasted lovely too. Their prices are very reasonable and they are happy to spend as much time as you need to make sure things are perfect . They let us borrow their cake stands which looked amazing at our tea party themed wedding. I also had my hen do here and everyone had so much fun- plus Annie was very patient with us! Would 100% recommend and we will be getting all of our celebration cakes from Flying Pig in the future. More...

Annie is a master! A perfectionist who ensures your cake is exactly what you want it to be - and in my case even better! I asked for a ballet cake - maybe swans...? What I received was phenomenal and well worth the money for the effort that went into it - tasted amazing too. All that gorgeous sugar work - well we kept that. Lilly refused to part with or eat it.
