After a traumatizing experience at the French Tulip where I experienced the rudest and laziest customer service on planet Earth, I marched my business down the street over to Flowers of the Valley where Corina welcomed me with warmth, kindness, respect and professionalism. My best friend lives in the Bay area and I wanted to do something nice to let her know I was thinking of her on her birthday. Naturally this was the day of and by the time I started making calls to florists everyone was within hours of closing. Corina, with Flowers of the Valley, was not only the only florist willing to accommodate my request on such short notice but was also such a joy in the whole process. I love this gem on 24th! It is a cute shop filled with individual stems to create your own and a variety of seasonal arrangements or bundles showcased outside to inspire your shopping. They always give great advice for how to make the flowers last and cut to your liking. I stopped in for a few stems and found inspiration to buy a few arrangements to brighten my home. More...

Don't let the owner's sometimes too straight forward attitude intimidate you. She was able to recreate almost the same bouquet that we showed her simply from the photo by quickly taking down some notes. Absolutely gorgeous. Really got my bang for the buck.Delivery was pretty good as well. I ordered at 5pm the day before and was able to get my flowers 9am in from the SF city hall. 10/10 will go again although I hope I don't need another wedding! More...

When you realize you need to order same day flowers and it's already 12pm (or later) there are not many options. Corina has helped me twice with last minute, same day deliveries this year. I've ordered online + over the phone and both orders were delivered same day as promised. Two days ago, Corina created and successfully delivered a $100 beautiful bouquet! I had never worked with Flowers of The Valley before this month, when I hosted a San Francisco reception for a family member's wedding. I needed 19 arrangements, in addition to the bride's bouquet, the boutounnieres and the corsages. Corina was excellent throughout the entire process. I had 3 consultations with her, during which we discussed my ideas for the flowers in the context of  the venue, which was unique.  She made suggestions about flower types, colors and style for the reception venue. All of our conversations helped define the final beautiful product which exceeded expectations. My favorite flower shop in SF! My boyfriend got me flowers from here and I fell in love with how gorgeous the bouquet looked - now I'm hooked and have been going back for more. Corina made the most beautiful flower crown for my mom's birthday on super short notice. I called Thursday late afternoon to see if it'd even be possible and it was ready by Friday morning. I was incredibly indecisive on what flowers I wanted for my wedding bouquet. I loved that they had a website of prearranged bouquets to choose from. This was so helpful! I chose the brush of blue bridal bouquet. I love hydrangeas and completely forgot about them when thinking about a bouquet. The customer service here is great. I called on two separate occasions and both workers were very helpful. I do not live in San Francisco so I was planning on getting my bouquet delivered the day of the wedding, but unfortunately they were not able to deliver day of. The girl suggested picking up the night before. I was nervous about my bouquet wilting overnight, but she assured me it would be okay. She helped place an order for my bouquet over the phone and helped me order a boutonniere to match my husband's suit. I felt like I was taking a big risk with everything, but I decided to go for it. When I picked up my bouquet I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't think it would be as big as the picture online, but it was bigger and better than I expected. My husband's boutonniere was so cute and matched with his suit perfectly. The girl that got my bouquet for me gave me extra packets of the plant food you put in the water. The morning of the wedding my bouquet still looked fresh and beautiful. I highly recommend this floral shop, the prices are very reasonable. The flowers are high quality too.
