Just recently started going here...It's amazing! Clean and tidy gym, plenty of free weights, excercise machines and other equipment. Affordable priced!

Clean, great equipment and reasonably priced. It does need more staff in the evenings though.

It has everything you need for the lowest available monthly cost in the area. 90% of classes are included in the monthly cost and can cancel anytime so perfect for just 'seeing how it goes'. The women's only area is cut off and private so perfect for those of us feeling a little self conscious and I've never seen it too busy to get on the equipment - but there is a handy feature to the website allowing you to check how many people are already there if you want to be extra careful. There are plenty of changing facilities with a main female changing room featuring; private changing cubicals, toilets, individual shower cubicals, facilities to monitor your stats and an abundance of spacious lockers; with an additional smaller ladies changing room, conveniently located in the women's only area featuring two private changing cubicals and more lockers. The staff have been very friendly and helpful during my visits, some offering private personal training sessions for an additional cost and they can always be found helping customers or cleaning around the gym during working hours. Been a member of this gym since it opened.
They have been improving slowly through feedback, if you want to see a change make sure you fill out the comments / feedback form which is situated as you walk in upstairs.

Off-peak hours you can use most of the equipment straight away. When it's busy you will either have to ask, wait or do an alternate exercise.

There are male and female changing rooms which require a pin to enter. They are gender specific so you can't 'accidently' go into the ladies room or vice versa. There are also lockers just outside the changing rooms which require a small padlock. You can purchase for £4 from vending machines.

You can find toilets on the floor, and a large individual room for the disabled with a shower and toilet. There used to be a tanning booth not sure if it's still in use.

1) There is a large free car park available 24/7 , as you enter disabled parking on the left, parking on the right and more parking available at the back of store which is shared by the retail park. There are also bicycle stands at the entrance.

2) You need a PIN to enter. Get it online via their website. OR use the terminals found in the foyer. You can also purchase wristbands to enter.

3) There are now 4 doors/ pods to enter and exit, as opposed to the 2 they use to have. The glass door is for staff so refrain from using that. If you need help or want to look around there is a call button you can press.

4)There is a small LADIES ONLY area situated upstairs on the left as you enter. At peak times it will be hard to get any of the machines.

5) Next to the ladies area you will find the large Studio where classes are held , it is open to everyone. Also at the back you will find a small stretching area with a few Dumbbells and exercise balls.

6) FREE WEIGHTS - Dumbbells go all the way up to 50kgs/110 pounds.

7) SQUAT RACK - There are 2 of them and 2 assisted squat racks. Olympic bars ( weight 20kg). Another separate squat rack can be found o

I feel really comfortable here working out as there is a women's only section as well. My only gripes is that they recommend that you clean after using the equipment but don't provide cloth or spray

Nice new machines, decent lay out for a smaller gym. One of the smaller pure gyms around.
