We recently purchased Luxury Vinyl Laminate Flooring for our kitchen and family room from Floor Decor. We also had their tile man install our tile back splash in our new kitchen. Floor and Decor has the biggest and best selection of products. More importantly, they have fantastic people working there. We have always found everyone to be incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Came in yesterday and had an absolutely amazing design appointment and experience with Marie King. I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience with her. We are redoing our bathroom and generally, my husband and I have different tastes and we walked into the appointment thinking we'd both have to compromise on a lot of things, and ultimately end up with a lack-luster bathroom. But when we finished our appointment with Marie neither of us felt like we had to compromise at all. She is such a GREAT LISTENER. We started by going through a design book and discussing what we liked and didn't like and what we were each hoping to achieve with our space (yes she took the time to ask us both, which is important). From there, we went out onto the floor and grabbed items that caught our eye based on our conversation with her. She pointed us towards items she thought might work, but was never pushy and let us get distracted with various things along the way. Back at her desk, we put together several different looks and whittled away until we landed on our favorites. Friend said I needed to go to Floor and Decor. I did and I love this place. Mike Godwin walked us through to look at the items we were interested in. His assistance was very valuable in helping us to get just exactly what we needed. Thanks Mike! Also we had a large heavy load. Grant Walker was very kind and never even expressed any displeasure of us having to take what we ordered in three loads in our family van. I have to say the first moment I walked into Floor Decor I was treated fantastic. Like I was part of the family. Dealing with Janine was awesome. She really helped me out big time and the most important really listen to me as I babbled on. She new exactly what I was talking about and pointed me in the right direction. After going through countless samples to take home i finally found the right kitchen backsplash and tile floor and also the right color grout, with alot of help from Janine. After choosing the right ones they hooked me up with Earnest who is the installer. Let me tell you what a great and hard worker he is and his team. He was more concern about me and my house than anything else. What a Beautiful job he did on my tile floor and my backslash. Its like a new home. They made my day. I could not have asked for a better Tile person than Earnest, and i couldn't ask for a better Designer than Janine. We went to Floor and Decor on a Sunday morning without an appointment to see a designer. We found Mark and he spent the entire day helping us make decisions and purchases for flooring and wall finishings for two bathrooms, and flooring for our entire newly constructed home. He didn't even take a lunch break. As we were going to attempt to do these projects ourselves, he also spent a lot of time "gearing us up" with the proper supplies and very good advise. Floor & Decor have a huge selection of Tile. Really, surprised how Big store was. There is a lot to choose from, so it can be overwhelming. So, it was a Great to have a professional designer help you choose the right color, design, and overall style you desire. After a botches first install with another company, Mike and Janine were patient and helpful. They made sure we were happy with the product and were able to meet my short timeline. Installers were polite and skilled, when half of the lights in the house went out (old houses... ugh) it didnt even phase them! they got their headlamps and worked through to the end!
