Elsa is a true "artist" and has the unique ability to hone in on areas that need the most amount of attention. You walk into Elsas studio and the first thing that catches your eye is all of her certificates on the wall. I was nervous about getting lash enhancement because they work so close to the eye. Every time I  put on mascara I like how my lash line looks. I have been thinking and thinking about doing this for years and I finally got the courage to do it. Went this morning for a retouch on my microbladed brows. Previously had them done else where and wasn’t 100% in love after the entire healing process. Elsa and her wonderful apprentice Lindsey decided powder brows would be a better technique because I do have dense brows. I battle with trichotillomania (an anxiety tick that has me pulling out my eyebrow hair and lashes) leaving my brows patchy and bald in some areas. Because my shape was already set, they did an analysis of color and how to combat what was already done to my brows and went to work. The results were beyond expectation and they took excellent care to make sure I was happy with the procedure. It’s a very sterile and clean office space and they both make you feel relaxed and that your in professional hands. Elsa is a Master at her craft and takes extra special care to ease your concerns. First, to say this woman is an artist is an understatement! She is a master of her craft. After 1.5 years with no prior touchup on my previous micro-blading she suggested a powder brow. I deal with trichotillomania (pulling out brows and lashes) so I combat patchy brows hence the microblading. Not only did she fix the patches but helped reshape what needed to be and made me look natural and not blocked out. I met with Elsa 6 weeks ago. I was very nervous as I have never done any kind of procedure like this before. I had some brow hairs but they we very sparse in the front or none at all. She was professional and explained everything in detail. I texted her a couple of times during the healing process with just a couple of questions and she answered right away. Just went for my touch up and it went very well! I told her the freedom I felt with an extra 15 minutes in the morning getting ready for work has been amazing and I am very pleased how the powdered brows look. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new lips! This is literally 2 minutes after we finished. Today they look full, natural and so wonderful! This was my first time with permanent make-up, and I am so glad that I did my homework on the internet and selected Elsa.  I had always been wary of the idea, because we have all seen people with overly theatrical brows and lips .  But one gets to a certain age where both the brows and lips start looking too thin, and lip liner and eyebrow pencil just don't do the trick any more.So I booked a consultation with Elsa in December, and had my initial session with her two weeks later.  I opted for the micro blading and the full lip treatment (outline and color).  As it was my first experience with permanent make-up, I wasn't exactly sure what was possible.  Elsa was very patient, and made sure that I was completely comfortable with what she proposed.  And as her reviews say, she is a consummate professional and perfectionist.  I wish I had done this years ago!  I finished my second touch-up session with her, and couldn't be happier.  She can count me in as one of her repeat clients from now on. After doing my research, Elsa seemed like the right person for the job in terms of both qualifications/experience as well as past client results, so I went into the process feeling like I could fully trust her artistic eye with respect to doing what would work best with my coloring and face shape. The consultation was extremely personalized and not at all rushed, and after only a second pass at my brow outline I was really happy with it. It was also very reassuring to go into the processing knowing that a second appointment for touchups is automatically included. Since Elsa started with as subtle of a color option as was possible during my first session, I then felt much more confident about going with a slightly darker shade for the second round. Elsa is amazing! I couldn't be happier with my eyebrows. I actually went in to have the signature 3D service which is the most expensive but she actually told me I just needed the powder technique to achieve the look I wanted. If I decided I wanted more, we could always add. This just shows she really cares about providing the best service for what her clients wants and she truly is an expert. I had my microblading session with Elsa in March of 2018 and I absolutely love the results even 10 months later. She is so professional and clearly is an expert at what she does. Being in the healthcare industry i appreciated how she was very knowledgeable about sterile technique and post op instructions. I got my touch up about 5 months later and love the results even more. I think i will go back again soon for a small touch up, but i have had constant compliments on my eyebrows being so perfect but no one knows it's microblading! I researched for about a year before finally deciding to get my eyebrows microbladed since the market is saturated with tons of people who claim to know how to do this procedure I wanted to make sure I picked the right person, and I did! Elsa did my scalp and chest scars. I had some thinning areas in my hairline that in 3 sessions she was able to make look thicker and hide the thinning areas! I am thrilled. My scars were white next to my skin on my chest after surgery which made me very self conscious. I am also in the permanent makeup business for 22 years now so it was very important for me to find someone who knew their stuff! I have had my eyebrows tattooed for over 25 years, went to northwestern plastics to have their "aesthetic" person do my touch up. ... I left looking like uncle Leo from Seinfeld. Absolutely mortified and no way was I going to let the woman at northwestern "fix" me after she ruined me. I found Elsa through yelp, she is the "fixer" of all the ruined tattooed eyebrows of Chicago. I wish she was known more as the the "creator" than the "fixer". I am beyond pleased w my eyebrows, the color, the shape- I can leave my house without embarrassment, I can swim without worrying about my eyebrows "coming off". I getcompliments all the time. I can't praise Elsa enough.I just wish I found her years ago... if you are searching make sure you are educated on what kind of licensing is required in the State of Illinois, Elsa gave me great insight to this, so educate yourself on who will be doing permanent makeup to your face.Simply put but not so simply done, Elsa saved me. I had my eyebrows tattooed by the esthetician, Juana Shin, at Northwestern Plastic Surgery (their surgeons are amazing) and if need be I can post the disastrous photos. I was refunded my money but not the problem that she created. Embarrassed and humiliated how I looked, it took me a few months to find someone I could trust to fix this mistake. I spent extensive time researching and getting more and more confused about how to not only fix my problem but what type of tattooing would work best for me. I turned to yelp. Elsa popped right up, thank god. Called her, scheduled consult and just asked how soon can we start on the correction and then the actual "new" tattooing. I listened, learned and heeded Elsa's advice. I got a serious lesson in what questions, licenses to ask about for different body applications and was mortified that I'm only now learning about this as I have been getting my eyebrows tattooed, unsatisfactorily, for 20 years. This Woman I can't say enough about.... she truly takes the time to treat all her clients uniquely and is so much more than just an artist. I have been following her forever on Facebook I have wanted to get my eyebrows done for what seems like forever. And I want her to do, but life throws alot of curveballs and it seems I keep getting hit with the financial curveballs. October has been a bad month for years after try to help family to then be viciously mauled by their pitbull that was commanded to attack needless to say I lost faith In people 43 stitches later as this couple stood over me like I was being laid to rest as I was screaming they did nothing to help. I cant say enough good things about elsa. I cam from Philadelphia for her to do my scalp, eyeliner, scar, and lips. I had to come in a few times because it was a process but boy was it worth it. My hair was severely thinning and now looks full again! My lips were uneven and i had a scar on my face- which elsa fixed and looks so natural! Getting permanent eyeliner is something I have been contemplating for a while. I went to Elsa yesterday and she did exactly what I was looking for. I got liner just along the lash line and filled in a few empty spaces in my brows with some microblading from a childhood injury scar and some over plucking at the ends.
