Flavor catered our wedding and the food is one of the things about our big day that EVERYONE is still talking about! The shrimp and grits appetizers, the roasted airline chicken, spring mix salad, and the white cheddar Mac n cheese were the favorites. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had two buffet lines, two bars and a drink station and it worked out perfect for our 250 guests. Flavor catering recently provided food to a 200 guest engagement party we held for our daughter and her fiance' in Franklin, Tn. The event was held outdoors at a rustic farm. Flavor's overall performance exceeded all expectations. First of all, their ownership and employees are phenomenal professionals who achieve excellent outcomes by fully understanding the customer's expectations and then meeting or exceeding the overall plan. From the first phone call, the tasting prior to the event up to and including the event the entire staff were courteous, attentive and attended to all details. They have a great menu and are also willing to create your personal request. The food and service at the party had everyone talking for the next several days including several attendees who own highly rated restaurants in Memphis. The entire group of Flavor workers delivered courteous, knowledgeable and informed customer service. My highest recommendation.  Flavor Catering catered our daughter's wedding reception and exceeded our expectations.  Mary Nell was a pleasure to work with as we chose the menu. Delicious food and excellent service with plenty of staff.  Michael and others arrived and absolutely owned it.   Seamlessly provided appetizers, drinks then dinner and dessert.   When there were questions, Michael would quietly suggest a solution so our guests never knew of any bumps in the road.  Flavor Catering made it so easy to provide a fabulous reception for our wedding guests.  Costs were in line with other quality caterers. Really indebted to this fantastic crew for catering our wedding reception. They took our vision (tacos!) and turned it into a great spread with a Southern touch. Many of our guests said it was the best food they had all week, even after stuffing themselves with Nashville BBQ in the days leading up to the event. Exactly as described and food was even better than we tasted in the tasting meeting. We used Flavor for our daughter's wedding and have continued to receive compliments; the food was amazing! Froze left-overs and they were still outstanding 3-4 weeks after the event. Display was beautiful; everything was on time; flow of guests to the stations was easy with no back up lines. The one thing my husband and I absolutely had to have for our wedding was GOOD FOOD! We have both been to so many weddings where to food was at most subpar. Loved not only the food provided by Flavor, but also the service. My wedding planner suggested that we use them and I couldn't be happier with our decision! I first met with Jody and informed him of a recent health diagnosis that restricted my diet a little bit. The night of the wedding, he had a plate prepared for my groom and I. I immediately knew which plate was mine because it was missing the foods that I unfortunately wasn't able to eat. I didn't even tell him specifically what I couldn't eat, he just knew, and most importantly remembered from our first meeting. Our food was spectacular. We eventually chose to go with a very simple menu, but even then the guests could not stop complimenting everything we had. I was only disappointed that my dress was so tight and I couldn't eat more! Ha! I highly recommend Flavor Catering. They offer endless menus and options for all types and sizes of events. Jason and his staff genuinely care about their clients vision on creating the best catering experience. They have catered several times for our company and have never disappointed. The food quality, professional staff and affordability is where it's at for your next event!The Fried Chicken with  Mac-N-Cheese is a southern classic they make right. Chicken Fried Steak with Bacon Gravy is excellent. Their homemade banana pudding and pumpkin bars are delicious.For the boxed lunches I would suggest Pesto Chicken Wrap, Roast Beef on Sourdough, and Traditional Club. The food was terrific! Jason and the staff at Flavor were wonderful from the beginning. We are all "foodies", who love to cook and love to eat. The food at the wedding was terrific and our friends and family all raved about it. We had shrimp and grits and great gumbo. I still dream about the vanilla flavored roasted sweet potatoes and the green beans and pork tenderloin. Yummy corn muffins. The dessert shooters were elegant little bites of heaven! Flavor al so helped us with the wedding signature drinks and getting the alcohol to the venue and in arranging bartenders. Food was one of the most important aspects of our wedding. We wanted plated meals for all 240 of our guests (with three different meal options and accommodations for guests with various dietary restrictions), desserts, and late night snacks. Needless to say, we had our work cut out for us in selecting a caterer!

We chose to work with Flavor because of their extensive knowledge of world cuisine and their exemplary customer service. They were the only caterer we met who could accurately replicate Persian flavor profiles and properly cook Basmati rice. They also responded instantly to any questions I had and let us customize every aspect of the menu until we were happy with it.

The day of our wedding, Flavor worked like clockwork. Every menu item was prepared exactly as it was for our tasting (delicious!), service was fast, and they were quick to handle meals for unexpected guests. They even packed up food for my groom and I to take back to our hotel at the end of the night (a much appreciated gesture since we were starving by that time!). Jason and his team at Flavor are hands down the best caterers in the business. My husband and I chose Flavor to cater our wedding. Jason and Jody worked with us to create a delicious menu that pleased both our taste and my dad's picky pallet and thrifty wallet, which is near impossible to do! Good food is hard to come by, but exceptional service is even more difficult to find. The minute we met with Flavor, we were confident that everything would go smoothly. Jason was so calm and so patient with our many questions, walking through every detail with us. Jesse and the rest of the team were incredible that night. They went above and beyond in every way possible; our guests and family never wanted for anything. Everyone came up to us and told us it was the best food and service they had ever had a wedding. We used Flavor Catering twice this year:  once for a Mother-Son dinner at the Beta house fraternity in January and also for a luncheon for Vanderbilt graduation.  I cannot recommend them highly enough for their professionalism, hard work and attention to details.  The moms of our group come from around the country and are used to fine dining so our standards are high.   We all agreed the food was delicious -- fresh, seasonal and well-flavored.   Our events were buffet -style and fairly simple, but I imagine they would do an equally great job on a more formal event or sit-down affair.
