What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to taking a good photograph is to make sure that you are capturing the moment. Its important that that photo is telling the audience something about the events that are transpiring in it. Composition, focal distance and lighting are also just as important as the subject in turning a good photograph to great.
Finally, like anything, it takes practice, it takes you making mistakes and it takes you looking into the technical details to truly understand what went wrong and its the exact same when shooting video.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When starting a new project with us, it is important that we get a clear understanding what our clients want. We want to make sure that there is no hassle for them on the day of the event and that the final product captures the event perfectly.
Really we just want to have a cup of peppermint tea and chat about your day but here are some questions that we would ask during our initial meeting:
Dates, times and location of the event
Any highlights or key parts of the day
Length of edit (we can recommend what we think would look best)
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is the variety of work it brings. Some days, I'm filming a new event that is supporting a local community and then that night, a new and emerging band. I enjoy the ability to be able to travel around the UK, see and meet different people and work on new and interesting projects.
