What do you love most about your job?
I get energized when I am educating others about the law, how it applies to their situation, and breaking down legal processes — such as interpreting estate plan documents, transferring business ownership, or filing estate taxes — into accessible steps. Making the law available and understandable to non-lawyers makes my heart happy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am the proud child of two small business owners—a veterinarian and a log home builder—and granddaughter, niece, and sister to many other small business owners. I share this because (1) the entrepreneurial spirit is strong in my genes, (2) I spent a lifetime watching those closest to me help others through their chosen professions, and (3) I know the joys and discomforts of a small business family. It was inevitable that I would start my own firm.

I completely understand that court filings, asset inventory, taxes, and interacting with government agencies are all situations that can seem daunting, overwhelming even. The vast majority of my services are provided remotely using video calls, e-signature software, and secure portal for file sharing. I have tools in place to support the rare occasion that an ink signature is needed or a document must be notarized.
