The Patriot Speedboat was a really fun experience. The coolest moment was doing a 360 turn under the Coronado Bridge. There was one moment where the driver suddenly drove into a rising wave such that we definitely got wet. However, by the time we returned to the dock, we were basically dry. I took one star off because I have done jetboats in NYC (out to the Statue of Liberty) and in New Zealand (on much smaller boats) and they were cooler. Really enjoyed this 1 hour cruise of the south bay in San Diego. Informative talk. Enjoyed seeing the 2 mile long bridge and the US navy ships, then the approach back to the city as it started to light up.

My six-year-old son and I had an excellent time on the Patriot Jet Boat Thrill Ride, being splashed around the marina. We were provided plastic covers that did us no good because we left soaking, which was expected and fun for us. We parked a few blocks away for free and had an easy walk over to the docks. A year ago, we took the two-hour Harbor Cruise, and we loved the easy pace along with the captain’s knee-slapper humor, but we couldn’t take our eyes off of the Patriot Jet Boat’s performance and all the fun that its patrons were having. I promised my son that we’d come back to San Diego and ride the Thrill. I’m so glad we did. We had a memorable experience, and we bought the souvenir 8x10 pictures each time to cement our memories. Flagship Cruises & Events gives you the opportunity to cruise around San Diego with dinner and dancing. My wife and I love this we have done this in Norfolk and in Baltimore. It is such an enjoyable experience. The food was wonderful. The service is spectacular. The DJ is great. Just ask for a song and they play it for you. The Patriot Jet Boat ride was incredibly fun and surprisingly scenic. A full half hour of expert crazy piloting in San Diego Bay, breaking every rule of smooth cruising with donuts and wake jumping and yes, getting drenched, all to hard rock music. What a freaking fun time. This boat was not a boar. You will get wet and you will have an amazing time. The ride is fast and the stops mostly come by way of slamming on the breaks into a half turn which causes the waterfall effect on your head.
