I have struggled with getting upper body strength since breast cancer surgery 8 years ago.Training with Anita has changed my body and my life. I had to go through a period of time in which the upper body strength training made my scar tissue and the implants feel very weird and uncomfortable but I have made it to the other side.I am so much stronger and healthier now, my clothes fit better; and I am happier. I found my gym community! More...

Great for every age/level of athlete! They help you modify/adapt as needed. They encourage, motivate, and give you just the right amount of push while giving you smiles, laughter, and an abundance of high fives! It's all about positivity, having fun, working up a shower of sweat, and challenging yourself to beat your "old self". I appreciate, respect, love my OTBF FAMILY! I recommend to everyone: young," age established", the beginner looking to "get their feet wet"to working out, to the seasoned athlete and to anyone in between! Its challenging but, I promise, you won't regret it! So...... Stop reading....and get some "outside the box fitness"! More...

Professional, experienced, personal , you are not just a client but a friend, a part of a family where everyone is there for everyone no matter what age, size, experience level or ability. If being a member of the OCR community brings so many together then Outside The Box is our family (where ALL the siblings ACTUALLY get along and care for each other and have each others back). So glad I found this group and these people to learn from and grow in my late in life change in becoming an OCR'er and for becoming a better - new me. More...

You will be working out with some amazing people that will treat you like a brother or sister and it is a team effort. I was having trouble running and Kasey stuck back and hung with me the entire time. It's all about the team. It's all about working together to achieve your goal. And you can get a massage right on site. With Lori Beth. Awesome people that will become your best friends immediately. Very motivational. Summers coming now get your butt in here. ha ha More...

No matter what level of fitness you are currently at, Outside the Box Fitness will help you to achieve your goals. Not just physically, but also mentally. Fitness and nutrition is more of a mental game than people really think. I have learned so much from Coach Kasey and cannot repay him enough for the eye opening lessons he has instilled in us. We are all a team, and nobody is left behind! There are no egos here; we help each other push past our comfort zones to find our grit and discover our true potential. More...

I was a little apprehensive about checking out this facility because it is so different than any gym experience I have had, but I am so glad I did! Coach Kasey and everyone else at Outside the Box were so helpful and friendly, it feels much more like a family and community than just a gym. I recommend Outside the Box to anyone who is looking for a great workout that can be tailored to any fitness level. More...

I love this place. Nothing fancy--but great personal training and group workouts where it's all about the clients and their goals--and the community. I recently retired and was looking for a place to help me train for my first Spartan race. I found Outside the Box through one of the free community Spartan training events they periodically offer, and I purchased a membership the following Monday. So glad I did--Kasey makes me feel stronger and more confident every day. Another bonus is that he has partnered with his wife Lori, who operates "A Touch of Energy Massage," and offers discounts to OTB members. Two great people trying to make the world a healthier and better place. More...

Anita creates a wonderful environment for people of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels. She will modify any of the workouts to accommodate injuries and skill. Her workouts are tough, but even after going consistently, I was still working out new muscle groups and always walked away feeling like I'd accomplished a lot. Her group workouts create an atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back for more! She is highly motivational and wants every client to reach their goals, no matter how big or small. More...

FitMo is hands down my favorite gym in Wilmington. I have tried crossfit and an all ladies gym but neither of those came close to my experience at FitMo. While the workouts are intense and push you to your limits, I enjoy each class and leave feeling very accomplished. Anita makes FitMo what is it. Her training knowledge and friendliness is the primary reason I have made FitMo my permanent gym home. More...

As a senior, I am into maintaining a high level of fitness. I lost that ability when the Wilmington Athletic Club (WAC) unceremoniously closed their doors December 1st. But, Anita, who was the trainer for the FitMo program at WAC, took a leap of faith and invested in a new facility to move the FitMo program. Anita knew the large number of seniors who utilized the WAC were being left behind by the WAC's action. Anita understands that fitness is key for people of all ages. Anita could not let the seniors lose their ability to attend the Silver Sneakers and Silver and Fit classes that they attended at the WAC. In her new facility, she made the additional investment to accommodate seniors with the same classes they enjoyed at the WAC. Now, the number of seniors utilizing FitMo has steadily increased so that FitMo offers five classes per week. Any senior looking to attend fitness classes should reach out to Anita and come to a class with other seniors to enjoy friendship, better health and wellness. I think I speak for the other seniors at FitMo when I say thank you Anita; you are a professional whose compassion for seniors is appreciated by each and everyone of us. More...

I knew about FitMo and Anita before I ever met her. She is kinda infamous in Wilmington. And after I started going to her Small Group Training classes, I can understand why! She is tough, motivating and means business. But, we have a great time working out which is important b/c it's not something I get excited about doing. FitMo is fun, it's a great work out, certainly not intimidating and she never makes you do anything that would be harmful to your health or any preexisting injuries (but she knows exactly when to push!) AND, she participates in Charity Check-Ins where she picks a non profit organization, and every time a client checks-in to FitMo on social media, at the end of the month she adds up the check-ins and donates to said charity! It's a WIN for everyone :) People will say, "You go to FitMo?" #allthecoolkidsdo More...
