I've been attending Fitfun bootcamps for a few months and I can say it's hands down the best work out class I've ever done. I was returning to exercise post baby and initially was worried about my fitness levels, especially in comparison to others. However everyone was super friendly, Al was really encouraging and willing to help with adjustments for varying fitness levels when needed, and I definitely felt like I'd had a proper workout at the end. I cannot recommend this bootcamp enough, to anyone of any fitness level. More...

I recently came across fitfunkettlebells through a fitness app and thought I’d give it a go. I didn’t know what to expect and was pretty much a newby in kettle bells. I was greeted by Altesse who was super friendly and encouraging. What followed was an intense hour long workout, where I felt like we worked on every single muscle in my body. Altesse made sure the moves I was doing were done safely and pushed me just the right amount. I left feeling I’ve done enough exercise for a week! The studio itself is very spacious with energetic music throughout the workout. If you’re looking for a fun, intense class - I would definitely recommend fitfunkettlebells with Altesse! We have trained as a couple with David Wilson for over 18 months now. Every session is fun and different and we never know what to expect which is great as we hate routine! Our fitness levels are so much better than prior to training and he keeps us motivated. If we didn’t have the sessions booked in we would not exercise for sure. Once we out in the park we love it! He is brilliant on flexibility Re timings as our diaries are very complicated and he adapts workouts accordingly. We also have a good laugh which is important too - we always leave with a smile.... and sometimes a bit of ‘sweet pain’... which we love too. Highly recommend. More...

I have been training with Ali for a while now and I honestly believe it to be one of, if not the, best investments I have ever made. Not only have I achieved better fitness and weight loss, I have also gained a wealth of knowledge when it comes to clean eating, workouts, confidence weight training and using equipment (especially when I am training without Ali) and just generally living a balanced life. Every session is completely different and fun, whilst pushing me further each time. I always come away having learnt something new and feeling motivated and inspired. Ali is very professional but approachable and I know that I can always go to him for advice or a motivational boost; whether that be during our sessions or over the phone. I was looking for a new outdoors bootcamp/interval training/circuits-style class after moving to South London and am very glad I came across the FitFun team. The instructors are very professional with a thorough understanding of a good training routine. You can tell with every session that thought has gone into it. Instructors incorporate bands, kettle bells, boxing, as well as other equipment for circuits, as well as body-weight exercises, hill runs etc for interval, tabata and other setups - it's always a very good, rounded workout.You can work intermediate or advanced and challenge yourself against both repetition & time targets, as well as other bootcampers.Darren and Ali are great instructors in every respect - training, professionalism, great group instructors, and just super friendly while pushing you on.I've trained with the group for roughly one year now and I hate missing sessions. A year ago I was 64 and 18st 8lbs. Having always played sports and been very fit, I did not like the way I looked and felt and I was getting worse.
My children, concerned for my health bought me 3 sessions with Darren in the hope that it would kit start me to do something to get back into shape.
I was concerned at first that I was too old and too unfit to see I personal trainer but Darren soon put my mind at rest. He worked out routines for me and I soon became excited as I was clearly feeling better. I then bought more sessions and I lost weight and felt much fitter.
Darren is a great motivator, and gave me excellent advice on training and nutrition. Add to that, he is a really nice guy and enjoyable company. I always looked forward to the training sessions.
I lost over 30lbs, am back in the gym and have also started playing cricket again. Unbelievable.
I would say that paying for the training sessions was an investment in the rest of my life.

I started with Boot Camp, added Boxing then Personal Training with Altesse so I have embraced all aspects of FitFun!
The classes are well prepared and organised so whatever your level of fitness, you can take part, enjoy the benefit of exercise and have a laugh with everyone too.
I especially enjoy my Personal Training sessions with Altesse. I have lost weight, become more toned and improved my fitness level. He is always positive, encouraging and supportive with excellent dietary advice (and realistic suggestions to get back on track after a bit of indulgence!) His encouraging texts between sessions are always welcomed and mean I stay focused.
Fit Fun is a brilliant concept and I thoroughly recommend it!

I’ve been attending the fit fun Saturday classes for a few years now and over this time, my overall fitness levels have improved immensely. Each session is fun and varied even though it can be tough (in a good way:)). The instructors are very supportive (and funny!) and there is a great ethos within the groups. There are 2 group levels, intermediate and advanced so all abilities are welcome and you are able to go at your own pace whist being encouraged to challenge yourself. I attended the FitFun Olympics 2016 event the other day and if I could give it a 6 star rating, I would.
I don't attend the weekly sessions as I teach myself at the same time, but I made a point to attend this yearly event as it sounded like a lot of fun. There were running events (both sprints and longer distances), planking challenges, press ups (my favourite!), rounders and even a water fight.
The event was very well organised, everyone made me feel so welcomed and included even though I was effectively gatecrashing.
Everyone had a lot of fun, challenging each other, supporting each other, there was a lot of banter between the participants and the instructors, who where all top quality.
I would definitely recommend the saturday morning sessions and I am sure their other sessions (kettlebells, personal training etc) would be of very high standards as well.

It is my real pleasure to have Altesse as a Personal Trainer, I have been seeing him regularly for over a year. The experience is always splendid: intense and fantastic at the same time. Intense as the level of effort expected by Altesse is consistently high but fine-tuned to my needs and ability. Fantastic due to Altesse interpersonal skills, which are really helping to make the sessions fun and positive. Yes! Even the ‘dreaded’ early morning workouts in grim weather when the bed is warm and inviting…

Altesse always manages to refocus me on my goal: running the Milton Keynes Marathon at the beginning of May. Over the course of the year he has tailored my programme with a great amount of care, raising the intensity level as we got closer to the race. His regular checks during the week, to see if I was on track, have been welcome and he has often had to amend training plans to help me with the occasional injury, high workload, etc.

His dedication has been superb and I do not think I could have expected more from him. He even travelled to Milton Keynes on the day of the race to congratulate me on arrival: I did 3h50mins by the way, which I am rather happy with for a very first marathon!

Now I have achieve my goal but Altesse will not get rid of me so easily. We have already devised a pretty challenging new goal for next April, with a series of intermediate steps along on the way to keep me focused.

If you are thinking of contacting a Personal Trainer, I can assure you that you will not regret getting in touch with Altesse. His consistency, his knowledge, his hard work and his friendly personality have completely made the difference in my case.

So to summarise: top notch guy, top notch experience, top notch results! What not to like

When a local mum was raving about FitFun boot camp, I thought I'd better come along and see what the fuss was about!

I started shortly after the birth of my first child and my energy levels were low so I was quite nervous about what torture awaited. I need not have worried. The boot camp has a warm and supportive atmosphere and even though the sessions are tough, I found myself really energised and enjoyed each session a lot.

Darren & Altesse are attentive, supportive and encouraging and every level of fitness is catered for. Every session is different, involving kettle bells, resistance bands, core training, running and loads of creative team building.

I only went once a week but could see a noticeable improvement in my fitness levels and felt really motivated afterwards.

These classes are fun and excellent value for money! I'm hoping to start again in January as I miss this positive start to the weekend!

Loved working out with Darren. First met him during a 10 week boxing course in Sydenham and he managed to coordinate an excellent workout for 12 women of various abilities always with a smile, an encouragement and lots of expert advice. After that I went on to do some personal training with another girl which made it slightly cheaper but no less effective. We were put to work in lots of unique and interesting ways, no session was ever the same and we always used the surroundings we were in to full potential including children's playgrounds. This was during winter so it was cold and dark but Darren always managed to make us laugh and always came away feeling like I had done the best I could have done. I did a few sessions on the Streatham bootcamp too which were really good and again catered for different levels but unfortunately they clashed with my daughter's swimming lessons so I had to skip them. I can highly vouch for Darren and will definitely use him again when I need to get back in shape next. Darren kick-started me back on to the road for healthiness and fitness after 1st baby and I'm confident he can do it again next time! Things I really liked about Darren: great energy and personality, always punctual, very organised (brings all the kit you need, has the whole session planned out, and a plan to get you where you want to be), covers nutrition, best ways to lose weight, how to stay fit, generally very flexible about timings and location. I came across FitFun a couple years ago from their bootcamp sessions and their name really is what they are, enjoyable workout sessions which are different every week! Having gone to bootcamp and meeting Altesse, he encouraged me to try his kettlebell sessions and I love it! Not going to lie it's hard work but it is such a good workout, you might struggle while you're there and swear at him in your head (I don't really do that lol) but it's worth it! Altesse is a great trainer, he's motivating and encouraging and even though I've never had PT sessions with him, he has still given me helpful advice for my fitness and weight loss. I stopped working out for a while but he kept checking in on me, encouraging me to start back again, not many people would do that once you've stopped going to something especially not over two years but he did and that's just one of the many reasons I'd recommend FitFun to anyone, they really are nice guys who do their job well! I have been attending kettlebells with Altesse for about 3 years now and I really love the classes. The classes are always slightly different, they are hard but we have fun too. I love kettlebells because it is a real all-over body workout, working arms, legs and core. Thanks to this class, and the occasional boot camp, my fitness levels have increased dramatically and I feel stronger and more toned than I ever was before. Love everything about this class. I started going just over a year ago. I had always been a regular exerciser but had lost my exercise mojo after child number two and was looking for something convenient and flexible to get me back on track. The first thing I would say is how friendly the group is. The trainers and regulars make a real effort to make everyone, especially newcomers, feel welcome and there is a very encouraging and supportive vibe. The classes vary from week to week so it doesn't get boring and the trainers provide different options to suit every level of fitness. I am a disability swimmer. I started working with Altesse from fitfunactive in May this year. Shortly after I started to see much better results in the pool. He has been very accommodating to my disability and has managed to make me a more powerful swimmer through working on strengths and weaknesses in the gym. I worked for roughly two months with Darren on getting my fitness levels up to get ready for Tough Mudder and also to shed some weight. His deep knowledge and appreciation of physiology and nutrition was apparent from day one. He is not only a personal trainer, but also a consultant. Extremely professional, considerate, supportive and flexible to meet your needs. Darren ensures a granular understanding of each individual to tailor a program to work with their body and meet their goals. The best part, and which in my experience is different to any other PT I have had, is that he does the exercises with you. I had great results and never felt better. The personal training here is of a very high stand. I drive 45 minutes to use the trainer here rather than at the gym down the road as quality of training is superior. I was recommended to Darren by a friend who remembered his boxing classes from many years ago. I was so nervous and apprehensive about getting a personal trainer but due to an impending wedding and 4 weeks of no success independently I hit the bullet and made contact. I was so nervous but on speaking to Darren was instantly calmed. He is very thorough, makes sure you as the client are ok and takes time to really understand your circumstances to tailor a programme just for and is so informative, he explains every process as you go along. I left feeling so so positive and full of energy. Would definitley reccomend fitfunactive. They are fun, help you get fit by remaining active. Not sure how Fitfun choose their PTs, but me too loves working with my PT Lily, I also very unfit person but in 3 weeks my fitness level as definitely improved, I had only intended to train a couple of times a week at the Fitfun studio, but Lily is a highly motivating person and I couldn’t wait to put into practice the things she taught me, so have additionally been working out at my local gym, in the knowledge I can consult Lily by text or person when things go wrong (like the 15mins I spent going backwards on the cross trainer at my local gym left me a bit sore!), but she always brilliant at offering advice (have a hot bath with Radox muscle soak), I have every confidence Lily will help me achieve my goal. I love my PT sessions with Bonnie, they really complement my weekly training and give me that extra boost and focus. I'm in Brockley so sometimes we train in the park but if (when!) the British weather kicks in we head to the studio instead which is really close. I have been impressed with the way that Altesse has tailored my personal training sessions in line with my specific goals in very creative ways. Each session is well planned out in advance and I have also been given a weekly exercise plan to follow to align with my goals and a nutrition plan to match the type of exercises I am doing. Since I started training, I am definitely seeing and feeling a noticeable progressive difference to my fitness levels in terms of speed, endurance and strength and have gained lean muscle whilst also losing fat. I’ve also learned so much about nutrition and muscle gain and Altesse has been very patient and helpful in answering my constant questions and dealing with my thirst for knowledge! Having suffered with a back injury for years I felt it was time to do something about it and I started training with Alteese. This was the best decision I have ever made in regards to my fitness. Ali makes training fun and enjoyable (I actually want to train now) he is so knowledgable, encouraging and has successfully helped me to strengthen my back so that my daily pain is a thing of the past. When I decided to get back into fitness, I asked my friends who they would recommend for an outdoor exercise and fitfunactive boot camp was one. I have been attending the session on Saturday mornings for a number of weeks and I'm very happy with my increased level of fitness. The session is split into intermediate and advanced groups (varying intensity according to your ability). Personal fitness has never been one of my high priorities. Unfortunately, this means it tends to come in small bursts and have a short shelf life. David has not only taught me easy-to-learn skills, but he has raised my awareness of fitness and helped me see a better picture of what I can and should become physically. I’ve been attending the fit fun Saturday classes for a few years now and over this time, my overall fitness levels have improved immensely. Each session is fun and varied even though it can be tough (in a good way:)). The instructors are very supportive (and funny!) and there is a great ethos within the group. All abilities are welcome and you are able to go at your own pace whist being encouraged to challenge yourself. For those of you who are scared of ‘bootcamp’ classes (as I was), I encourage you to give this a try, you will be pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended! More...

I began to attend FitFun in Spring 2015 as it was recommended to me by a neighbour. I was pretty out of shape and had not really done proper exercise for months before starting so I was not looking forward to it! I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the first session. Hi, these guys are awesome. I do PT, boxing and boot camp with them and 9 months on my body shape is completely different (lost 4 inches of my waist!). The classes are tailored to ability levels so everyone gets a great workout for them but they are also really friendly. If you're tempted, try them, you won't regret it. More...

I have been attending for over 18 months now. Trainers are helpful and friendly. The people that attend are easy to get on with and I always feel welcome, even it I have missed a week or two. There is no joining fee and they run a 10 week pay as you go scheme, which works very well indeed. My fitness has improved and has my weight. I did about 20 personal training sessions with Altesse who is very professional, helpful and accommodating. The sessions were varried using different exercise equipments which kept it fun and effective. I felt the difference in my physique and fitness ability and I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome. I joined FitFun way bacck in 2013 and attended boot camp on Streatham Common every Saturday Morning. I stopped for 2 years and joined again this year. I look forward to bootcamp very saturday and meeting up with the FitFun group on streatham common. It is well thought-out and structured in such a way that no matter who you are, with the guidance of the instructors, you will find a level that suits you. I enjoy the commeradary, and the non-stop banter, but beneath all that there are a bunch of people who are serious about getting fit and<span id="moreReview567876" class="hide"> staying fit. However this only works because of the two fitness instructors Darren and Ali, who are professional and knowledgable and offer great advice and encourage. I have been going to Saturday morning boot camps for over 18 months now and can't recommend them enough. Ali and Darren are great instructors who make each class different and offer great advice to help motivate you. If you are struggling with something they will spend time working with you so you feel comfortable and find alternatives when you are really struggling. You can work within your<span id="moreReview526003" class="hide"> comfort zone but are also encouraged to try new things if you want to. My fitness has dramatically improved and I have surprised myself with what I can achieve thanks to their support and encouragement. I have gone from doing no exercise to doing Tough Mudder with a team from Fitfun and running a half marathon. The classes are also a good way to meet new people and everyone is really supportive and encouraging so you do not feel intimidated or on the spot. FitFun boot camp is the best exercise regime I have ever tried. The excercises improve strength and stamina in such a short time. Even without weight loss, muscle tone noticeably improves. I have been going to FitFun Boot camp on Saturday mornings for the past few months and I absolutely love it! In the past I have exercised alone, so I was quite nervous about working out in front of people. However, as soon as I arrived I felt completely comfortable and included. I've been coming to the FitFun bootcamps on Saturdays and boxing on Mondays for a while now. Usually I'm the type of person who starts these things with good intention but then gives up a few weeks later, but with FitFun I've been coming back again and again. The trainers have exactly the right level of encouragement without being pushy. The sessions are always different (eg kettlebells, bands,<span id="moreReview502054" class="hide"> group games, etc) and they are careful to adjust the exercises for each person's individual fitness level and any injuries. The activities and exercises are distracting enough that I don't realise how hard I'm working and then get that sense of satisfaction at the end that I've achieved much more than I thought I would have been able to. The group is very mixed in terms of ages, fitness levels, body shapes, etc, and yet it feels very comfortable and relaxed to exercise together (unlike being the much less fit one in some gyms I've been to!) I have been going to the group exercise sessions on and off for over a year now. I love the sessions, each is never the same. Ali and Darren are both super motivating and friendly. I have a lower back injury which is always considered and they always have alternative exercises for me to do so I never feel left out or feel like I can't do anything. I have been attending fit fun (Streatham ) since August 2012. It was one of the best recommendations made to me and I would recommend it to everyone. The trainers are highly skilled and will encourage you to push yourself to achieve a higher level of fitness whilst making it enjoyable. I intitially received a leaflet through the post and as the classes are near home, I thought I'd go along to see what it was all about (the first session is free) and I have been unexpectedly hooked ever since.
