What do you love most about your job?
I work with Clients whose first considerations are aesthetics, performance and durability. Many have traditional properties in conservation areas, or which are listed buildings, or contemporary homes.
Some of my Clients are building new homes or are completely transforming their existing homes. So each contract I work on, large or small, is different and requires a certain amount of design input and thought. I work closely with my Clients to ensure they get exactly what they want, and when it's all done to their satisfaction, it's very rewarding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having renovated and newly built more than 30 properties in the UK and overseas I am well-placed to advise anyone with a forthcoming project, whether it is their first, or one of many. I have experience of all styles and materials, know the pitfalls of the industry (of which there are many) and have seen all the 'short-cuts' made in design, manufacture and installation. I have also, for my sins, worked for one of the big nationals - I lasted 9 months before deciding they weren't fitting 'the best'. I decided I could do it better.
Why should our clients choose you?
I only work with whom I consider to be the best manufacturers, all in the UK. I only use highly trained installers, most of them time-served joiners who are professional in manner, tidy, organised and whose work is finished beautifully.
Overall, I offer better service, better choice, better value for money, and - very important - better after sales. Your investment may be a little higher with us than some competitors, so if you are looking for a quick fix, i.e. you are renovating and selling on and are not concerned about quality, give us a miss!
However, if you are investing in your long-time or permanent home, or you are a developer who wants minimal after sales hassle and to build a reputation for quality, our service is for you.
