Great Trainer - I have been working with Sonia for about a month I have particular needs due to disability and she's great at coming up with different exercises incorporating yoga/Pilates and stretching which I like. Definitely recommend this company.

I trained with Sonia at Fit Fast trainers during the summer and I couldn't recommend her highly enough. With her calm and gentle approach and expert guidance and advice, Sonia was highly motivated and very encouraging. She showed a real commitment in helping me to achieve my fitness goals. Each session was tailored to my exact needs and varied according to my progress. I have definately seen a considerable improvement to my muscle tone and posture. Life changing results!I started training with Vic after a diagnosis of hip osteoarthritis. Initially my objective was to build strength and keep mobile, but as my condition deteriorated Vic was invaluable in preparing me for total hip replacement surgery. The surgery was an enormous success: I was on my feet the day after the operation and my recovery time was a quarter of what I expected. I put a lot of this down to the work that I did with Vic.As to his personal qualities and qualifications, Vic is hugely knowledgable and combines deep knowledge of physiology and psychology to adjust exercises and motivate (sometimes unenthusiastic) clients.I was constantly impressed at the way he could adjust training to my capabilities, advise me on adjustments that would relieve pain/ reduce strain on other joints. He is also a qualified Pilates instructor which brought another dimension and workouts were always varied.Above all Vic is a super nice man, extremely knowledgeable and has huge integrity - I always trust him to advise me to do the right thing for me. I've been with Fit Fast for just over a year now and can't recommend the guys, and especially Pilar, highly enough. Over that time the sessions have been progressive (Who could believe I could 60 push-ups in one go!) and varied, ranging from Tai Chi, Fighting and core strength.I've taken about 5kg off and toned up and built core strength and stamina. I have been having regular training with Joe at Fit Fast Trainers for almost 2 years now, and can safely say choosing him is one of the best things I’ve done. Sessions are so varied that training never gets boring and I’m always learning new skills. Joe really pushes me and I’ve avoided hitting a plateau; I still feel like I’m improving in form, fitness and flexibility. Joe is friendly, personable, professional and really knows his stuff. My trainer with Fit Fast is Joe, I've trained with Joe for over six months now and have found him excellent. Joe has been very professional, but very personable, and unlike most trainers I've had in gyms before, he listens to what you want to get out of your sessions; whether it's simply fitness, strengthening weak areas, muscle tone, or a specific goal, and suggests goals to aim for.He's so enthusiastic about what he does, and has a real love and enjoyment for understand how the body works and understanding how to take care of it. He's been able to pin point weaknesses in my flexibility and muscles, something that I was worried about with a history of early onset rheumatoid arthritis in my family. Dispite the fact that I was very unfit to start with, I've avoided injury, where I used to get swollen knees very quickly, and progressed from not being able to run on a treadmill for two minutes to running for 20 minutes on my first attempt. My sessions mainly consisted of stretching exercises, weights and short aerobic routines which varied every week to stop me from getting bored. With the exception of the weights all the excerises could be done anywhere, no gym necessary and easy to recreate at home.Overall I couldn't recommend Joe enough. More...

“My ‘#1 Tormentor”
“My name is Nick Cole and I’m a 61 year-old stroke survivor. I had a fairly massive haemorrhagic stroke in June 2009 that hospitalised me for ten months, initially in Charing Cross hospital and latterly in the Regional Rehabilitation Unit (RRU) at Northwick Park.

At the time of my stroke in June 2009, I was already reasonably fit, having decided to do something about my excess weight and general lack of fitness when I turned 50 in 2003. At that time I bought an exercise bike and after a year of sweating away, felt sufficiently fit to join a health club and do my exercising in public. I also started cycling to work. So arguably the exercise bike and gym membership saved my life! But still my weight stayed stubbornly high at >110kg and my BMI>33. I didn’t realise it at the time but I was using the gym as an excuse to continue my lifestyle of going to the pub several times a week and pigging out on pizza, etc!

I met Peter Sleight in April 2010. When I came out of the RRU, a family friend recommended the Action for Rehabilitation from Neurological Injury charity (ARNI). Peter was/is the senior ARNI trainer for my area (Chiswick, West London). I soon realised that Peter would be a ‘tough but fair’ trainer. I jokingly call Peter my ‘#1 tormentor’ because he’s always ‘raising the bar’ and pushing me to go for ‘just that little bit more’! And that was the missing ingredient that my pre-stroke training was lacking.

Peter has taken me from being effectively bed-bound to being able to walk for >1km. (I’ve recently also bought a tricycle, which I’m learning to ride!). Along the way, Peter has taught me how to recover and pick myself up from the floor from a fall and many other useful coping strategies. If I had my time again there are many things I’d change but not Peter. I just wish I’d met him years ago and avoided the damn stroke!”

I have been training with Fit Fast Trainers now for a couple of month. I find it so easy to book a trainer online and to have them turn up at your front door a couple of days later. Peter was happy to help with any questions I had and he also offered great support. I have trained with two of his trainers now just to mix it up a little with a bit of variety, no need to stick with the same trainer and the online booking system is easy to use. Peter has been training me for about ten years, since I set out to recover from my pregnancy weight gain. From the very first session he has been nothing but agreeable and dedicated and his professionalism, patience and perseverance are exceptional. I have a very complicated life as I juggle work and family, and my tiredness and motivation vary wildly, yet Peter manages to keep me focussed and fit through thick and thin!
