Fiske | film is a husband and wife wedding cinematography team located in Orange County. Our films provide a cinematic look that differentiates us from the ordinary videographer. We use small inconspicuous equipment to get a more authentic and photojournalistic capture of the day. We aspire to be great storytellers.

Fiske Films blew us away! While Greg is obviously an excellent videographer, what we loved about him was that he was AUTHENTIC - he really captured the tone, emotion, and reality of the day as well as focused on the actual couple, showcasing who they are and their love for one another. We didn't want this exciting moment in our lives to be turned into something that it wasn't, just for the sake of making a "cool" movie. When we finally came across Fiske Films portfolio it was exactly what we were looking for. Â It was extremely diverse, and his was the only one (out of many!) that wasn't "cookie cutter", and that made me feel like I knew the couple I was watching. With high expectations after seeing what he was capable of, Greg completely exceeded all of them. He went above and beyond and out of his way to work with some of our weird requests, and the end result is better than I ever imagined. I get chills just thinking about how perfect our video is. The transitions, the music, the shots and soundbites he chose, EVERYTHING so perfectly captured our love and how we felt in that moment - and we gave ZERO direction, and ZERO edits when it came down to it. It feels like we're transported back when we watch it, and at the end of the day our video is the single most important thing that we're left with aside from our memories.I definitely recommend Fiske Films, very highly! With the suggestion that you allow him creative control to just do his thing, because the man KNOWS what he's doing and is so intuitively talented, and couldn't possibly let you down.Thank you, Greg! We hired Greg to film our wedding in Palm Springs last year and it was the best decision we made! The feature film he created (about 9 minutes long) is so amazing- we have watched it about a dozen times already and cry every time. He listened to what we wanted and he created something that we felt captured our special day. He and his crew were easy to work with before, during, and after the wedding. They were really nice and did not feel too obtrusive while filming during some of our private wedding moments (e.g., getting ready, first look, etc.), which was something we were worried about for any videographer. In fact, we sometimes didn't notice they there at the time, and later we were surprised to see some of the cool shots they got. We also thought his prices were fair. Greg and his team did a great job with our wedding video! We decided a couple weeks before the wedding we wanted a videographer and am so glad we did. The video captured our special day and highlights that we'll be able to treasure forever. Greg and his second shooter were respectable, on time, and professional. I would definitely recommend Greg but do want to inform others to expect at least 6 months for the final product. More...

Working with Greg was fantastic!! He was very professional and worked great with our photographers. Â When he arrived he quickly set up and started filming. Â He made sure to capture all the little things as well as the usual shots. He was very easy to work with. Â We got our video on our 6 month anniversary and it was just so special to be able to relive that day with my wife. I want to give Greg and his team 5 stars, but some things hindered me from doing so. Keep in mind that 4 stars is still REALLY GOOD! :)Let's start on a positive note:-Greg and his second shooter arrived on time and immediately went to work. -They were very professional and captured many memorable moments. -They were respectful of our culture and did not "get in the way" while doing their job.-Greg and his second shooter did not give us any stress and were really easy going.-He directed us on what we can do without making the moments seem cheesy.-He took into account the songs I wanted in the film and used 3 songs I requested.-I believe they stayed past their contracted time and got a few good dancing shots.Onto some constructive criticisms:-I wish my film had some more creativity put into it. It was pretty much a summary of our wedding day in a nutshell. Some parts were chunky and a little "textbook." I was initially sold on the previous works their team did, and felt mine was a little bland in comparison.In hindsight and with fairness, I should've spent some more time during my wedding preparations to clearly communicate with them what I envisioned in our wedding film.I also had to e-mail to ask about the delivery of our end product. The response I received made me feel like they were rushing to meet the deadline and possibly waited last minute to work on it.Final thoughts:I would definitely recommend Greg of Fiske Film to capture your next big events. Our friends from Maryland who couldn't make it to our wedding and saw the video said it was very beautiful and touching. Greg did a great job with our wedding. Our wedding lasted all day since we had many traditional ceremonies and multiple locations. Even with all of the running around he was able to capture the best parts of the day to create a beautiful video that was uniquely ours. He also was really easy to work with. Our video is something that we will cherish for years. My parents and family were also very happy that we decided to use Greg as our videographer. They liked the results a lot. A photographer is a must at a wedding. But I'm learning that if the budget allows it, a videographer will give you so much more depth and emotion when you are remembering your special day. I won Greg's services in a contest and was a little nervous because I didn't think he would work very  hard since we weren't paying him for full services. Boy was I wrong. Greg went above and beyond in every aspect. He was so friendly and professional and worked SO WELL with my photographers and other vendors. He not only made sure he was conscious of where my photographers were and what they were doing but he helped them out with equipment and shooting as well. He came early and stayed late and I feel like he really got every detail covered. My venue was definitely hard for my vendors and it made for hectic day of schedule and he handled it so calmly and professionally. He is very responsive with emails and came to our planning session to scout the location. Greg and his staff were soooo polite and nice, our family even noted how wonderful he was.  I would hire him again in a heartbeat and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. Greg and the second shooter were very professional and I did not have to give him any direction the day of the wedding. He just started filming as soon as he arrived. Both of the shooters were very professional and were able to blend well with the crowd. The final trailer of the wedding was beautiful. I have shared it so many times and I am very proud of the final product. The contract I chose included a full day documentary of the wedding, but when I received the video it was pretty basic with just the toasts, first dance, and cake. I wasn't so sure I wanted to hire a videographer for our wedding last year but I decided to do it because I wanted to make sure our future children would be able to see live videos of our parents and  my husband's grandparents.  I'm SO glad I did and I'm so glad we hired Greg from Fiske Film to shoot it.  His team were so professional and really made me feel comfortable.  We got our trailer back and it was so beautiful.  They layered my husband's grandfather's heartfelt toast to us over music and gave us the ~3 minute overview/trailer of the day/night.  I think it was the best wedding video I'd had ever seen.  The longer movie was so beautiful and we were so happy with the result.  I watched the reception/ceremony and I relived the day all over again and got details that I'd missed since the night flew by.  The videos came in an adorable vintage box with popcorn (umm, cute)!  The attention to detail was fantastic and I 100% recommend this company to anyone who wants to capture their special day.  Our kids will love it!  I wish I had a video like this of my parent's special day. It was such a pleasure to work with Greg & Fiske Film and am 100% happy with the service and product provided by Greg and Karla. Greg conducts business with the utmost professionalism, kindness, promptness, understanding and goes above and beyond the call of duty. The final product is honestly a masterpiece. Greg came along our engagement photo shoot and recorded some of the cutest candid moments and had the awesome idea of doing mini interviews.  When our wedding day arrived, the entire day was filmed from beginning to end;  from getting ready at home, the ceremony, the photo session and the reception. He really captures the moments you want to remember forever. He coordinated well with my photographers and was virtually unnoticeable as he worked.  The quality of the DVD is just amazing. The color, the transitions, the music, the sound... just astounding. The trailer alone brought tears to my eyes (and my  mom and as well as my girlfriends). I am a wedding coordinator who worked with Greg for the first time in August 2012. I knew he was very professional from the very beginning, returning my calls and emails as we worked on the timeline for the bride and groom. On the day of the wedding, Greg and his second videographer were very good about knowing what to shoot and where to be to capture all the important moments without getting in the way of the photographer or the wedding party. He is a very easy-going guy and I appreciated him always being on top of what was going on. I haven't seen the footage yet, but as far as working with him the day of the wedding, Greg was very professional, punctual, and proactive in getting what footage he needed but also being very inconspicuous in the process.
