We first met Nikkie and Pete at a wedding fair at Langdon Court. We had been to several wedding fairs already and had been bombarded by photographers, most of whom were ok but didnt give us that 'wow' factor. When we started talking to them, they were both so friendly and warm! It made us feel at ease and we decided they were the ones for us. We liked them so much we picked them before our wedding venue. All communication leading up to the day was faultless and intuitive. Nothing seemed too much trouble and regularly seeing snippets of their work gave us ideas. We opted to have them photograph a family gathering we had the night before the wedding, it went really well and it was like having friends join us. On the day they were both fantastic, chipping in beforehand and kept both of us relaxed despite nerves! They blended in effortlessly and kept smiling the entire time, we couldnt fault their professionalism and service. Wow! what can we say about Nikkie & Pete?! Choosing them was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! Photography was extremely important to us so we poured over numerous photographers and websites before coming to the important decision to have this fantastic couple ! and we are so very happy that we did! On the day Nikkie and Pete helped us feel at ease in front of the camera which is something we usually find quite difficult! however, due to these guys being so relaxed and low key it helped us feel like they were more like friends than photographers. Nikkie and Pete captured lots of natural and candid moments unbeknownst to ourselves, while also guiding us helpfully through the family and couple shots. These two work together in such a wonderful way and provided us with lots of laughter along the way. Our photos are truly outstanding! and so much better than anything we could have hoped for. We have both been extremely emotional looking through the photos which capture the beauty of the day in more ways than one. What can I say about Pete and nikkie! When we got engaged, they were the first people we booked 2 and a half years ago! We love the natural feel to their photos and the fact that they’re husband and wife means they just work beautifully together! Nikkie was incredible on the morning of my wedding, i barely knew she was there and I can’t wait to see our photos! From the minute they arrived, they were professional and efficient, making sure none of the staged photos went on too long so we could get back to our guests, but ensuring we’d got the best photos around the grounds of the venue! We were made to feel completely at ease and were honoured that you went out of your way to stay longer to capture the last bits of our day! Pete & Nikkie did fantastic wedding photos for us - which arrived so quickly on a beautifully packaged USB, no less. We really are so pleased with as they captured the laid-back, fun spirit of the day perfectly, while getting all the essential shots without anyone really noticing, even in quite tricky (but lovely! ) sunshine. The photobooth was incredible - at most times it was busier than the dance floor, we couldn't have predicted it would go down so well with everyone but the pictures are priceless. Thank you Nikkie and Pete for capturing our wedding day so beautifully. We knew we were in safe hands, stepping in when the crowd needed to be herded into group photos and lying low in the background to get the natural shots we were looking for.
We love our photos, especially the more adhoc ones which you captured. We have had compliments from our guest on how unobtrusive you were on the day, yet you still managed to capture everything from the small details in the decorations, to the big “ I do” moments and speeches perfectly.
