I have been a member since November 2016 and I have enjoy every moment!!! The results are real!!! And the encouragement you receive continues to push you forward. The weight I have lost since my journey began I have not since an ounce of it come back and I am losing inches every week. Like I said REAL results. The meals plans look scary at first, but once you start cooking the food and prepping it for your week you can't wait to dig in. I truly thought the portion control part would be extremely hard but both Ashley and Elise are completely understanding when it comes to first starting portion controls and will help you every step of the way. Also during workouts I tore my ACL in 2007 the injury still affects me when working out and both Ashley and Elise are able to substitute EVERY workout for me so that I can still work out and not be held back by my knee. If you truly want to get in shape and have a lifestyle change it may take time, but First in Flight Fitness has truly helped me become more confident in myself and understand what I am putting inside of my body.

Ashley is absolutely amazing! I had always been a fairly active person, but over the past few years, I allowed my career to take over the time I used to spend working out and playing sports. When I met Ashley, I was out of shape, weighed more than I ever had in my entire life, and was generally unhappy with myself because of this. I was ultimately more stressed out and less productive at work and "not myself" at home because I was missing my stress outlet and my me time. Ashley helped me get back on track with her awesome workouts, constant motivation, and a fitness family that keeps me accountable so that I can stay on track. I'm healthier and stronger than I've ever been, and I'm slowly but surely getting myself into the best shape of my life with Ashley's help and guidance. I love my First in Flight Fitness family and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the right place to start turning their life around!

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

1 - We identify your goals and why they are important to you
2 - Create objectives/steps to achieving those goals. This is where we help you create the new healthy habits and patterns necessary to reach your goals. You establish your weekly workout schedule and follow our meal plan/nutrition guidelines
3 - We coach you through workouts, hold you accountable to the healthy habits we established in step 2, and continuously motivate, educate and empower you to lead a healthier lifestyle
4 - When you reach your initial goals, we set new ones. Health and fitness is truly a journey

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

The secret is to create new habits. Small consistent changes create lasting effects. It takes time and perseverance. Most people need some accountability and guidance during this process - and that’s what we provide.

What do you love most about your job?

Life demands energy.... in other words “adulting is hard”. I know that I am my best self when I feel healthy and have energy. I love helping others find that balance in their lives so they can achieve more success is their careers and relationships. The ultimate win is when I see that my clients are also influencing their family/friends/coworkers to be more active and healthy:)

What inspired you to start your own business?

I started my career managing health and fitness programs for campus gyms. I’ve also Trained clients and led group classes for corporate gyms and community based fitness programs. Ultimately, I realized that I have the most impact in an environment where the primary mission is to help others create positive and lasting change. So I decided to create that environment on my own terms - free of committee meeting and pushy sales tactics:)
