BEST NIGHT EVER! Ever been to a wedding where the Emcee is awkward, the jokes fall flat and the dance floor is empty? I have, but can proudly say that my wedding was the furthest from that! Greg was the PARTY! He went above and beyond for us. He took photos of the venue, the guests and candids throughout the ceremony, the had amazing dance lights and even a fan to cool off the Bride!! (let me tell you ladies, this.was.the.best!) We had guests raving about the DJ services before the night had even ended. We had shuttles scheduled to leave at 10pm and 1 am and had to add an 1130pm shuttle because guests were sad to leave. It felt like I had known Greg my whole life, he immediately became a friend and I felt very comfortable with him and truly believed he had our best interests at heart, ultimately he had everyone dancing till the last song and truly surpassed our expectations! Greg and Marc did an amazing job! they went above and beyond to make sure we had anything and everything we ever dreamed of. Marc was our emcee and was great and entertaining. Greg played amazing music the whole time and always felt the crowd. there has been people dancing all the time and there wasn't a single second where people were not dancing. Greg even went out of his way to take photos of our guests and is fitting the evening, printed those photos and have them to our guests as a souvenir! he also videographed the ceremony and parts of the evening to give us a souvenir of our fantastic day. Greg DJ'd our 190-person wedding at the Glebe Community Centre and blew our expectations completely out of the water! He did all of the sound for our ceremony, speeches, live music during the reception and the dance party, and everything worked perfectly. The dance floor was packed until the lights came on and our guests couldn't say enough good things about the music. He also went above and beyond with special surprises like having a camera to take some pictures and video late into the night (he also brought a small portable "bride fan" which kept my wife comfortable throughout the day!). We were very lucky, all of our wedding vendors did a great job, but Greg was by far and away the best. We had a large wedding (250 people) and he somehow managed to play music that kept everyone dancing and partying till the lights came on at the end of the night. We had request of everything from fiddle music, to country music, to the latest dance music, Greg had it all. We had an absolute blast at our wedding, and all of the guests raved about how amazing he was and how much fun they had. We also asked Greg to be the MC, he was so professional and had everyone engaged and laughing. We ended up with kids getting together to sing songs, adults giving marriage advice, on top of that Greg thought of and took care of a ton of little things I wouldn’t even have considered. As if all that wasn’t enough, he also videoed our speeches for us, which I am so grateful for. Then when the photographer left he jumped in and started taking pictures of us cutting the cake, bouquet toss etc. He also took pictures of the guest and was able to print them off and give them to the guest, which they loved. I am sure they enjoyed getting to leave with some of the pictures from Greg more than the wedding favors. Hire First Choice, it will be the best wedding decision you make!! We seriously could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Greg was so enthusiastic and fun, had great knowledge of music and had an extensive library that kept the party hopping all night long. On top of that, he took pics and video clips of the entire event which has given us an incredible keepsake. He even printed them off as the night went on and gave them out to the people in the pics... awesome! Greg was absolutely amazing at our wedding!!! I can't say enough. He exceeded all of our expectations by a million miles. I had debated hiring a DJ because we were having a smaller wedding, but hiring Greg was THE . BEST. CHOICE. we made!!He played ALL of the music we asked for, got our friends (who are mostly not big dancers) up and dancing until closing, set up music both indoors and outdoors, stayed from the ceremony until close (about 11 hours) without charging overtime, and met with us at least 4 times before wedding to discuss what we wanted.That alone would have exceeded my expectations, but then, after our photographer left for the night at 10 pm, he pulled out his professional camera and took amazing photos and videos that are some of my favourite memories of the day! Oh, and did I mention that he also emceed our reception (NOT part of his contract) and got our friends/family up and singing silly love songs between courses during dinner? Greg simply made our wedding day better than we could ever have hoped for! He is very professional but still super fun & approachable. He provided all the music we asked for, as well as songs our guests requested before, & during the reception. Our wedding, which was in the country, had sketchy internet at best, but he still managed to find the time to download special requests even though he had to roam around in the field to find a connection lol. Greg made us all laugh as he walked about during the reception asking questions & entertaining us. He set up early & stayed until the last guest left, playing the music indoors & outside. He even managed to make all our guests think there was "technical difficulties" during our first dance when we changed from our romantic song to a party song to lighten the mood & get everyone on the dance floor! We hired greg for our September wedding and wow- from the very begging greg catered to us and made us feel comfortable.
