What do you love most about your job?
First Choice Accounting has been operating for almost 30 years in Durham Region. It has been an extremely rewarding experience helping others to receive the professional tax services that they deserve for a reasonable fee and with affordable payment plans when needed.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business in 1991 after a bad experience down the block in a local tax office belonging to a large firm. I left that office almost in tears after being humiliated in front of a waiting room full of people for asking what the "professional" felt was a "stupid" question. I decided later that week to get the training needed to stop this from happening within my community. My goal was to provide my family, friends and neighbours with an affordable alternative and better customer service.

At First Choice Accounting, there are no "stupid" questions. With a home-based office, appointments can usually be easily booked to suit your schedule with a comfortable time frame to answer any questions that you may have. All work is done by appointment only to ensure maximum confidentiality and to allow better focus on the job at hand.
