Fantastic 2 nights 3 days stay at Firs, it was our first Glamping experience and it was amazing. The bell tents are beautiful with an amazing layout inside. The kitchen was well stocked up with everything you need plus having that warm shower everyday was lovely . Great location, it was lovely exploring Southwold and the broads over the 3 days. Lots of cups, plates etc. available in the little utility house also. Briefly met the owners in the morning who were very friendly. More...

We decided to experience the "glamping thing" for the first time while visiting the area for a friends birthday and it's safe to say we will definitely be back. Tom and Sophie were great hosts. They have built the sweetest setup of 5 bell tents and even though there were 4 other tents, it still felt perfectly secluded. Be sure to bring your bikes! The first stay was during the only cold spell this summer... but no matter, the log burner ensured a very cosy and warm atmosphere inside the spacious bell tent!! So different to my camping experiences of years ago when I shivered and was miserable!!! This, the 2nd time... we bbq-ed in the evening and had breakfast in the sun ... everything provided - except the eggs!- by the wonderful hosts, Sophie and Tom, who have got everything just right!! From the lovely tent interiors .. to the perfect showers- and the superbly kitted out kitchen!! Can't wait for a third trip!!! Chris and John Franc More...

We used it as a stop off after the Dunwich Dynamo and it's really easy to get to the site from the end of the ride.Beds were really comfortable, everything was really clean and tidy, didn't have any problems with anything. The amenities cover pretty much everything and you can do basic cooking / hot drink stuff in a small communal kitchen. Showers are great and the solar power never became a problem. Things can be a bit rustic, but it's a campsite and that shouldn't be a surprise. We found that there are a few local takeaways that deliver, but you have to ask them nicely. More...

My wife and i stayed at the Firs for only one night with our 2 year old daughter and wished we'd booked for longer!Tom and Sophie were great.. they went through everything we needed to know about the site and it's surrounding areas which enables us to get the most out of our stay. We couldn't believe the attention to detail they have applied in all aspects to this site, we had to keep reminding ourselves that we were camping as we certainly weren't roughing it lol!! The toilet/showers were both clean and fresh, there is ventilation internal to each toilet keeping these smelling fresh and the showers were top quality, good pressure with more heat than needed. The decor in our tent 'Willow' was so cool.. and the bed!!! this bed was sooo comfy, better than ours at home!! whats that all about lol!!! The view from the front of Willow is of an outstanding landscape view of the beautiful suffolk countryside, which could also be seen when laying in the bed with the tent doors tied back.. it's just breathtaking! Night time at Firs glamping was yet another unexpected treat.. the solar lighting has been strategically placed and switches on at dusk which turns the site into an enchanted fairytale garden and with the fire pit burning away at the same time it would be easy to sit out all night just taking it all in.I couldn't recommend Firs Glamping more if you are looking to Glamp in and around the Southwold area!
