Enjoy their selection of coffee along with their coffee ice cubes.

Wonderful atmosphere, coffee and food!
We are visiting our daughter in Fort Monroe VA. Firehouse coffee is a 5 minute walk; but also a great neighborhood coffee house experience. Friendly service, great food and wonderful coffee! We wish there was one of these in Kent WA where we live !! More...

this place has become a staple of ft Monroe. it's a great starting and ending place for that long dog walk, Pokemon hunting and now Harry Pottering. the collection of Firehouse memorabilia had grown and looks great, the drinks and treats are great and so it the staff. More...
Super cute place! Very cool inside, great place to escape the heat. It's tucked away, a little out of the way but worth the trip! The teas can be ordered hot and cold, the smoothies are fresh and have a vast number of flavor combinations. Great service, atmosphere and overall experience! More...
I’ve been going there every time that I visit Hampton. It’s my favorite coffee shop
Came in during a visit to the fort and I was pleasantly surprised! It was a cute shop with plenty of space and seating, the decor was fitting and the workers were friendly! I ordered a vanilla iced latte lightly sweetened and although it was sweeter than I'm used to it was still very good. They have upped the iced latte game and use coffee ice cubes which is awesome so your drink doesn't get watered down! I will def go back if we visit the fort again! More...
Local spot for breakfast with my boo! I need to give props to the girl who helped us. A bus arrived before us and she worked promptly, politely, and without complaint. She was sweet and got the job done. I've only been once before, but plan to make this a frequent spot for my boos and I. More...
Really overpriced for what you get. Deli sandwich had two slices of thin meat on it and one slice of cheese. For $8. Cute atmosphere but just not worth the price.
Coffee and staff were awesome. One of the best local coffee shops in the area for sure.

Very nice way to start my day today. Thank you for having such a unique and inviting spot!
Once an old Fire Station, converted into a Great coffee shop
Enjoyed our visit and will be back again! Good food and great atmosphere!
Me and my husband LOVE this coffee house. We work out at the YMCA across the street from it, so it is the perfect location. The staff is super friendly. The location we love. They have indoor seating or outdoor seating. What we love about the outside option is many places offer outside seating, but the setting here is actually a pretty view. Firehouse is located on historic Fort Monroe. We both always get the sausage, egg, cheese, on a croissant. I don't know where they get these croissants, but it totally cancels out my work out, and it is worth it. I love the chia tea with an espresso shot. So good!! Maybe it doesn't take much to impress me, but my husband gets an ice coffee of some sort (I just know he loves them) the ice cubes are made out of coffee. Sorry but I love that little detail. More...
Great people and cool place to relax.

Cozy atmosphere and yummy Coffee
I love this quaint little place. It's my new coffee hangout! The scones are amazing and I love the decor. prices are good also.
Great spot in the middle of Fort Monroe. A must to check out.
Best coffee shop in town. The owner Donna makes it so welcoming!
Best Chai Tea latte I've EVER had, really cute little shop with great seating for reading and tables for working. They leave treats out for your doggos and they open the garage doors in the summer. Breakfast and Lunch options as well as ice cream. HIGHLY recommend!! More...
I LOVE the vibes in this place!! The big open doors make it feel alive and the staff is super friendly. Firehouse also does live music and I’m stoked to come play
This is one of the best coffee shops that I have found since moving to Hampton roads. They have a friendly staff and a great atmosphere! It’s locally owned and they take pride in the quality of food and beans that they use, unlike some other chain coffee shops...highly recommended!!!! More...
Best cappuccino and loved the chocolate croissant.

Very friendly service and wonderful environment
I went to this new coffeehouse on Fort Monroe yesterday. Great atmosphere and a great cup of coffee!
Awesome place great coffee good atmosphere and owners!! Can’t wait to go back
Probably the nicest people I have ever met. Every time I have been here everyone was friendly and eager to help. Not to mention the food and coffee is great along with how they have the place set up. One of the best spots!
Super sweet barista (owner maybe?). She shared the whole Ft. Monroe update with me and smiled the whole time. I had hot cider, so I can’t really vouch for much more than her and the great atmosphere.

Great coffee. Great location. And wonderful people who work there! We had a hazelnut latte with hazelnut whipped cream.....'nuf said!
My Absolute Favorite Coffee House. They are the best. The perfect place to visit on a rainy afternoon (or anytime for that matter). Brunch this afternoon was: 1) A Breakfast Croissant Sandwich consisting of Ham, Slice of American Cheese and a Real Egg done to absolute perfection (honestly I think that is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had.) 2) Their award winning chili (It won People’s Choice award for favorite chili at the 14th Annual Waterman’s Museum Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser in Yorktown this past November) Exceptionally Delicious! 3) Last but certainly not least: The Coffee, a custom peppermint mocha beverage with almond milk and an extra shot, just the right amounts. Simply Perfection. Great to every last drop in the cup. All of this created and served up by friendly staff. Five Stars + for certain ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Truly an Awesome Place to visit. More...
Fabulous personal service and delicious lattes!
So, our family and friends went to get some coffee last Sunday and today will be the 3rd time coming to Firehouse Coffee. Love the building, its very cozy, the staff is very attentive and the coffee its delicious. We are from PR and this coffee has a strong but not bitter flavor, we love it!!!!!! Support small businesses!!!!!!!! More...
Amazing food and staff! Highly recommend!
Always loved fort Monroe This is a great little place for coffee and food very historic great atmosphere
I stumbled across this cute little coffee shop on Yelp and my husband and I decided to check it out. It is a literal firehouse and even though it was a little difficult to find, it was well worth it. This coffee shop is more of a cafe than a coffee shop since it has breakfast/lunch and ice cream options, but it served our purpose since we came for coffee. My husband got a pour over, no complaints since it's just a regular brewed coffee, and I got a dirty chai latte. It was good, I just think that they need to add a little something else to really get that chai flavor (it was a little watery). Aside from that, I would much rather come here than Starbucks so keep supporting local businesses like this! What a wonderful addition this coffee house is Hampton, VA! More...

I love repurposed establishments like this. It’s like you’re hanging out at the local firehouse. Note* careful ordering bacon on anything, it’s Canadian bacon, big difference ❤️
great coffee house and great service
Super cute place! Stop if you get the chance!
Such a great coffee shop. Will be back again. Plus they accept Dogs :).
My husband and I walk A LOT at Ft Monroe and this is one of our favorite places to stop. I’ve tried their soda floats and a few other drinks and they are always delicious. The staff go above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. Today, while walking, we stopped by to feed our baby in the air conditioning, and while I was nursing him, an employee brought me a cold cup of water and was very sweet. She made my day. It’s so nice to see excellent customer service. Highly recommend going Firehouse Coffee! More...
Firehouse Coffee is a welcomed addition to Hampton, VA. This was a much needed local coffee shop/cafe. It also has made great use of the available real estate on Fort Monroe. They offer a great selection of coffee with solid flavoring options dependent upon your tastes. There is also a small breakfast and lunch menu. I've personally eaten some of the breakfast items and they are very good for what they are. Nothing special there, but they are good! What I love most about this spot is its unique interior and cozy interior. The coffeehouse is literally an old firehouse. The mix of seating and firehouse/firemen related decorations makes for an inviting and enjoyable experience. More...

A wonderful cafe located in what appears to me an old firehouse garage. Delicious coffee. Definately worth a visit if you are touring Fort Monroe or visiting the Casemate Museum.
The atmosphere. The staff. The drinks. All reasons this place is worth a visit. I don't drink coffee. I prefer tea. I ordered a non-menu item, and the staff was happy to make it. It turned out perfectly! You'll love this quaint cafe, because it has something for everyone. Check it out! More...
Everything was excellent! Great service, great food, great environment! Our new favorite place!
Let me start with the decor of this old firehouse is spot on. The painted fire hydrants outside are awesome touch. We didn't partake in the coffee. So I can't attest to it being good or bad. That being said... I can say they can't make a salad to save their lives. The sign said Mediterranean salad..,bed of greens, olives, feta, tomatoes and meat for extra. Well, it was a bed of spinach and a few pieces of iceberg. A few means a few. Now I like spinach so I i was ok with it. But if You don't like spinach or you shouldn't eat it because of kidney stones. That would be a big problem.Being it's not on the sign saying bed of spinach. It had six small crumbles of feta 4 olives and about the same for tomatoes. This was the skimpiest salad I think I have ever had for 8 bucks .That was before the up-charge for the chicken salad . Which they even forgot. Which actually turned out to be store-bought . I did assume it was homemade chicken salad .That was my fault , it wasn't. Just store bought from some chain store. It was not very good. My wife's salad was the same although no olives. They forgot the chicken salad on hers as well. But they did rectify that. I asked for unsweet tea as a beverage and was directed to the cold case and ended up with a unsweet tea in a plastic bottle. Now this is a coffee shop. I understand that but you can't make unsweet tea. I think they really need to look at the way they do things here. Making unsweet is minimal cost. They would make more money , profit if they make their own unsweet and sell it. They could even get some types of tea and have a coffee and tea shop. Instead of buying a container from Sam's or BJ's and reselling it. Now this is just a review our experience there which was not very good. More...

Amazing place! I love that they offer almond milk and I love the touch of coffee ice cubes in my iced latte
So cute and quaint. Decent amount of seating, love the open atmosphere! I had their cold brew coffee and it’s be best I’ve probably ever had - very flavorful. Also had a breakfast croissant sandwich which was yummy as well. I live about a mile away in Phoebus and this is now my new weekend spot when I have time to stop by! ☕️ More...

Located within the walls of the former Army Fire Department in Fort Monroe, I fell in love with this coffeehouse the minute I parked up outside. Boasting plenty of character from the moment you walk in, you cannot help but feel patriotic and proud. The drinks menu has a great selection to choose from. The customer service was spot on, we felt very welcomed from the moment we stepped in, and the pricing wasn't bad either. Clean, inviting, bursting with color inside, with secret nooks to hide in - relaxation at its best!I got myself a vanilla latte and was given the option of syrup (sugar free or normal) and milk (I requested non dairy, they had oat milk or soy, can't remember now - sorry!) There's also food and some treats available if your sweet tooth is calling your name.Merchandise is available to buy, the coffee mugs would make a great gift for any former Fort Monroe military or anyone who is proud of the story of this Fire Department turned Coffeehouse. I'll 100% be back. More...
