I need the incentive that having a trainer brings, as well as the whip and prod.....only kidding!! Without the support and encouragement of Michael, and his understanding, I would not be as motivated as I am. He does a wonderful job and I really appreciate him. This year is get the goals busted. I strongly recommended Michael and the team at FTF. In just 3 intense months, I was able to reach fitness goals that had remained elusive for long time. So If you are ready to give it all, don't hesitate to call them up!

I've been training with Michael Ulloa for the last three months and I highly recommend him! He eased me in initially and checked where my fitness was at in a friendly and positive manner. This was extremely important as starting with a PT for the first time can be an intimidating experience, but MU made it feel fun! As we've gone on, MU has been pushing me closer to my limits which has resulted in seeing massive improvements across the body. I'm now looking forward to seeing how the next three months and beyond go! More...

Mich understood my goals clearly and went about setting up a great workout and dietary plan suited for that. Whilst being put through my paces and hurting at times, his positive and friendly attitude towards helping me definitely inspired me to keep going. I can safely say that there are not many PT's out there take the time to understand you and get to know you as well as Mich and the team at Finely Tuned Fitness do. I highly recommend them and am glad that I have them on my side to reach my fitness goals. More...

Malcolm is a fantastic trainer. He's so encouraging and supportive. He's become such a trusted confidant whilst pushing me to get fitter and lose weight.
I've always felt self conscious in gyms but that quickly disappeared. I've found I no longer dread my sessions and on occasions I even enjoy the work outs!
I also love the comraderie of FTF, you feel like you're part of something and there's social events and blogs and vlogs that really help with motivation.

Today I finished my three and a half month training program with Finely Tuned Fitness. I'm over the moon with the results and have Michael Ulloa to thank! I set out to lose a bit of body fat and over the last 3 months I have not only surpassed my goal weight but I've become far stronger and more toned than before I started. I've also learned a lot about health and exercise throughout Michael's excellent approach to personal training. Michael developed my program with the key component of simple mindfulness - take more of an interest in your diet and the nutrition behind it, take control of your weekly exercise regime and, maybe most importantly, have fun training. Michael taught me about the values of proper nutrition i.e. everything in moderation, but mostly eat healthily and drink plenty of water. These things I've usually struggled with but Michael laid out how best to approach that part of my life, as well as putting together varied and fun workouts each week. Each workout was meticulously put together for me to focus on upper body, lower body or core strength. This helped massively as before I was one of those guys that just looked at everyone in the free weights area and decided to hop on a treadmill instead of getting involved in weight training, which I've now learned, incidentally, is far more fun to me!Michael's holistic approach to personal training has helped me so much in such a short space of time and I plan on keeping it going on my own now. I would absolutely recommend Finely Tuned Fitness to anyone interested in hiring a personal trainer, and especially Michael Ulloa if you're looking for help with nutrition as well. It is difficult to choose personal training - it can seem an expensive way to try to get fit. However, if you are like me, and you need the motivation, not only to go training, but to find or create the time to go training, then personal training is certainly a great way to achieve this. It is also difficult to choose a personal trainer - there are so many to choose from, and you know that is not difficult to become an "official" or "certified" PT. Therefore it is either pot luck, or looking at personal reviews. I went down the first route, and somehow got lucky when I contacted FTF. Michael was quick to respond, and took time to understand my goals, even though they were quite simple - lose fat and get fit.Michael is genuinely friendly and personable, making each workout (kind of) enjoyable. He has an excellent understanding (and qualifications to match) of nutrition.All I can say is to give FTF a go - I am sure you will enjoy joining the FTF Community. More...

Malcolm and his ÜBER fun, educational and highly motivating sessions have LITERALLY changed my body and life! His enthusiasm really does get you excited about the gym, YOUR progress and YOUR personal end goal. Always very professional, he is always bringing new ideas to the table , keeping things fresh. I have had a few training sessions with Malcolm from FTF - he is incredibly knowledgeable, energetic, professional and passionate about his job and fitness. Very good at identifying strengths and weaknesses in my training and strength and suggesting things to work on. Iv noticed I have a lot more energy in general, and I have a lot more drive to do things that normally I would just avoid
I have also noticed i am more confident with my body, I would tend to stick to leggings and baggy tops/jumpers and although I have just started getting my health and fitness on track and my body hasn’t changed dramatically from when I started, I’m wearing clothes I actually want to wear and tucking my top into my jeans, which I would never do for fear of my belly and now I am!
I’m just generally more happy with myself :)
