FfocalPoint Photography did the photographs at my daughter's wedding and if you have been a mother of the bride then you will know how stressful this special day can be. As it happened we had a fantastic day thanks to excellent service provided by all concerned and FfocalPoint Photography was no exception. Pete Kemp, the photographer, was with us early in the morning and stayed all day taking some brilliant photos. No fuss, no intrusions to the busy wedding morning routine but he captured some fantastic "natural" photographs. This is how it carried on throughout the day - you didn't realise he was there but the wonderful photographs he took proved otherwise. The hardest part of it all is choosing which ones to have in the wedding album!!!!!! FfocalPoint Photography, Pete, took the photos at our wedding, as well as recording the wedding service and speeches for us. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere during our engagement shoot (the first time we met Pete). He laughed at our terrible jokes and was more than happy to joke back with us. We had lots of fun and had some truly beautiful photos to show for it!! On our big day, we barely noticed him, yet the pictures meant he was everywhere (how he did it we will never know!!!). Pete was my photographer back in May and did a fantastic job!
Very professional throughout the day and went above and beyond to capture our special day.
Pete made both sides of the family very comfortable and relaxed throughout the day. We also had the photo booth from Pete and that went down a treat especially once the beer was flowing!
The turnaround of the photos was a lot sooner considering the amount of work that was done on the images and myself and my wife are very happy with images.

What a wonderful time was had by everyone on the day of my daughter Hollies wedding to Aaron.
Pete made the day even more special by capturing lovely memories for us all to treasure, I for one haven't stopped looking at the wonderful photographs he took for us very creative, humorous, and lots of romantic and traditional ones as well. Thanks once again Pete for all your hard work you are an amazing photographer.
Pete is a fabulous photographer, we couldn't have chosen a better one. from the moment he arrived he was professional and helped calm me down a lot, I had every confidence in the photographs he would be taking during the day and when I saw the results I was blown away. They are the most beautiful images that have captured our day perfectly. Being 32 weeks pregnant I was worried about my image but he helped me feel at ease and really helped show that I was pregnant. Aaron is so happy with the images as well as they show our personality perfectly with a few humorous photos chucked into the mix. I cant wait to see the rest of the photos. FANTASTIC what fun. We had the photo booth at my daughter's wedding and it was a big hit and seemed to be in constant use. Very popular with young and old and everybody seemed to thoroughly enjoy making fools of themselves!!! I would highly recommend having this in any party as it gets people together. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
My Ethos...
Well in a nutshell, I love capturing images. From a simple and elegant portrait to a highly elaborate scene with movement and a couple to capture, it's all hugely enjoyable for me. Even 14hrs on my feet with two cameras around my neck and several lenses strapped to my waist cannot dampen my enthusiasm for being there to help, witness and capture that smile or your perfect day. From initial discussions and meeting I take pride in being able to help you whenever you need advice, from suggesting local suppliers right through to planning the final schedules. Like any good photographer, I will help to ensure everything goes according to plan, capture the moments and edit them so you can enjoy them forever.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The first question should always be what are you looking for in your images. Styles and preferences differ hugely and it is important to both of us that your preferences match my style to ensure I deliver the images you need and will love. Normally I'll meet a prospective client to discuss this in detail prior to accepting the booking. After that we can get down to the finer details and scheduling.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is the huge variation of work it entails. No two bookings are ever the same and each has new and exciting rewards. From meeting new people that become friends, capturing their special monents, preserving scenes that will otherwise be forgotten in time and producing images and art that will be loved for generations. It's all great for me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having always been "the photographer" amongst friends and been tasked with covering employment and social events since the ninties. In time this progressed past a hobby so I researched the styles used by nationally acclaimed photographers and attended training courses run by the leading photographers in the country to ensure I could consistantly deliver the pictures to win the smile.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should consider booking me if they love the images I produce and I fall within the budget.
If I'm a little outside your budget then please feel free to discuss options with me as I do occasionally offer discounts and am happy to discuss custom coverage to suit individual jobs. Moments pass, memories fade so lets capture images that'll last forever :)
