When I got a crab cake I expected to get multiple crab cakes for the price. The crab cake was top level though. I also got a seafood platter. The shrimp etouffee, fried gator, and fried crawfish were very good. The fried fish was top level. The sweet tea was good. We had an attentive waitress and the greeter was really nice as well. The service was great. Our server was attentive and all of the staff was very friendly. However, I was expecting a little more from the kitchen for the cost. Nothing was bad; but, as a local Cajun, I've had much better at home. In fact, I wish I could give 4.5 stars because this was the one of the best Cajun restaurants I've been to. All the food had a good spice to it, not just bland and hot. The fried seafood could have used a bit more seasoning, but the fish was very juicy and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. As for dessert, if you're particular about your brownies, be warned that theirs are quite cakey. On the other hand, the bread pudding was pretty great. I haven't been here often, but every time I go the service and food is great! The staff is very personable and welcoming. As far as the food goes, I haven't gotten anything I didn't like . Excellent food and even better service; my waiter Trevor was spot on, I asked him to bring me whatever he wanted and served me the snapper supreme and it was amazing. Newly built location, very clean! We went on valentine's day and everyone was attentive except for our waiter who neglected our drinks until we asked for refills. He did give us drinks to go so he redeamed himself. They messed up on our order of oysters but they were very quick to correct it! The management staff was very friendly and great at quality control and corrections! They were awesome and the food was DELICIOUS!!
