What kind of accounting services do you provide?
We offer accounting services for small to medium sized businesses and assist on a case-by case with "back work" where a former CPA or bookkeeper may have not had the time or resources to help the client with prior year bookkeeping. We also get involved in tax resolution matters where the IRS or a state agency need to have financial data for various reasons.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Accounting and bookkeeping are the foundation for any successful business, a platform that assists the business owner make informed decisions on what is working for the business and what is not. Many owners have cash flow problems and tax matters that go unresolved for years as they struggle to get their books in order.
What do you love most about your job?
Our firm loves working with clients who are receptive to new ideas, understand that accounting and tax laws need to be a part of the equation for business success and not just a back office activity. Once the books are under "control", strategic decision making becomes the fun part for us in making recommendations to our clientele.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Curiosity was the main reason for starting the business 10 years ago. I also wanted more time with family and friends instead of traveling a lot.

Clients choose us based on ability to deliver the basics efficiently and competently, however the business advice is why they've been with us for many years. We choose our clients based on interviews and performance from their end. We are selective as to whom we choose so that we deliver the time and attention that is required.
