Got back home yesterday after the most chilled new year stay. The lodge had everything you needed, there was plenty of toys and DVDs to keep the kids entertained, the lodge was spotless. Everyone loved the hot tub! Thank you we will definitely be back More...

Just returned from Gracies Place after spending last weekend there. Very homely and immaculately presented. Excellent little touches with entertainment for the littles ones with a Xbox console and Sky Tv for any hours you have spare. Hot-Tub is fantastic. The weather wasn’t the warmest when we visited but a quick dash round the decking and into 40degrees soon warms you up. Great for a early morning dip to shake any hangover away Felmoor Park itself is a great site and location to explore. Great walks if you have a dog with you. Highly recommend a visit to Gracies Place!!!! Ps were booked to go again in March More...

Another great trip to Felmoor holiday park and it was just the job for a nice resting wkend away from home and work.||4 adults in our group but on this occasion we stayed in a lodge named Fallowfield. Lodge which was situated near the entrance to holiday park and only a couple of minutes stroll to the newly revamped club house. Everything you require for a stay was included in lodge, very clean and modern. Nice big American fridge for keeping the beverages cool and hot tub nicely sunken into decking area.||Liked the new look to club house - extension is really lovely although I'm not sure about kids area downstairs (seemed cold and a waste of good space) plus, as most visitors bring dogs the fact they are only permitted into the bar area was not the best (hence we only had one drink).||||Still a great holiday park and sure we'll be back again. Stayed on the park from the 30th Oct to 3rd Nov, and visited the crazy horse on a few occasions twice for food, and have to say we were really impressed, the portion sizes was big even the starters were a great size portion, Friday night steak night is a must the food was so nice, would highly recommend people visit. The place has been refitted to an excellent standard with the added bonus of the games room, i remember visiting 2 year ago and all it was, was a small tiny bar. More...

Me and my partner stayed in the lavender lodge for 4 day’s and to say the least it was perfect! We booked to go away for my birthday and it defiantly did not disappoint! All of the rooms are beautifully decorated & are very spacious it felt like home. When we arrived we were welcomed with a card, bottle of Prosecco and chocolates it was a lovely touch! Noelle was very helpful and came round to show us how things worked in the cabin & the hot tub. Nothing was too much trouble for her & we will defiantly be returning very soon! X More...

We have stayed here this weekend and what a lovely weekend we had. The lodge is lovely and clean and very spacious, my little boy was so excited when he found the toys and was kept well entertained. The hot tub is lovely and from the lodge we spotted squirrels and rabbits! We visited Northumberland Zoo, we decided to walk as not far from the lodge, lovely place. We ate out on the evening in the local bar/restaurant the food was reasonably priced and good portions sizes. We would highly recommend and will definitely visit again, thank you Sam and Nic x More...

With only a £30 taxi ride outside of Newcastle our stay at the cabin was lush. ||The hot tub was amazing and the view of the lake was a added bonus. ||We had a few issues and talked to Patrick the owner who resolves some of them, one being the single bed in which he replaced. ||One thing I will warn is that the fridge was on high and it froze our food so the salad had to be binned, I feel like this should be checked before guests arrive to avoid having to purchase new items. ||In the kitchen was already bread, buiscuits and ice cream which was a nice gesture. ||We needed more items from the local shop so Patrick took my friends which was nice. ||The area itself is pretty hard to get around without a car as you cannot walk down the A1 unless you want to be squished. ||The Cabin itself inside was spacious and the kitchen was great on the other hand for a massive cabin the BBQ was tiny and it had been left with cigarette buds on and mouldy food which again should of been checked before arrival. ||I think because of the small issues I cannot give the place a 5*||But myself and my friends enjoyed our 2 nights stay. ||My friend got stung by a wasp in his throat which could of been bad but he was ok thank god! Patrick's lovely wife brought over some paracetamol and allergy tablets bless her as my friend was in some pain as you can imagine. More...

Lovely weekend, nice lodge with loads of room made better by the hot tub which was absolutely fab. Only downside would be the abrupt member of staff we came across who decided to shout across a packed bar we weren’t allowed to take the dog in the games room, if that is policy then that’s fine but the first day was a different story when we were allowed to take the dog down, we did try to question this but got a rather abrupt mouth full which left us extremely embarrassed and we had to leave. Maybe a good idea would be to make it quite clear by having signs around or to take to one side, again only complaint all other staff were lovely and helpful apart from the rather slim blonde older lady with glasses. They had thought of everything to make our stay perfect from DVDs to board games to a fantastic welcome pack including hot chocolate , biscuits and wine ! There were plenty towels for us to use and the hot tub was a fanastic treat . We tried the onsite restaurant/bar and the food was great , they even had vegan options . Over the few days we managed to visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens , dine at the treehouse , try out a Trampoline Park , visit Duradge Bay Park and beach . All locations were within 25 minutes drive from the lodge and the Northumberland Zoo which was just next door . Our little dog especially loved the woodland walks that surround the park . We didnt was to come home . Thank you for a memorable break at Longstone Lodge . More...
