Stephanie is an excellent leadership coach who kept me anchored to my core values and core being. I knew I wanted to be coached by a skillful coach who is a woman of color and mother. That was important to me for relationship and comfort. I also wanted someone anchored in more of a spiritual way of being as well as someone who knows how to navigate the complex world we live in with some practicality and toughness. I was looking for accountability big time. We went on such a great journey together for 6 months where we kept peeling the layers back of who I was and what mattered to me. We kept going inward and inward and I started to face the honesty of who I was focusing much of my transformation on my relationship to my body and partner, and trusting that this day-to-day work and focusing on my core would manifest outcomes. It's just a question of how much we are ready to double down on that. Well all my hard work of working on me and having Stephanie there to witness me paid off because now I feel opportunities are coming and I'm intentional about what I should do and why and what I should prioritize and why. My journey to principalship has been a long endeavor. Feathership unexpectedly became a centerpiece in my own growth, healing, and leadership journey. I stumbled by accident into one of Stephanie's workshops about how to Lead on Purpose. The moment I stepped foot into the venue, I could see and feel the great care that she took to create the experience ahead of us and to lead us through it skillfully with spark, creativity, depth, and vulnerability— she teaches and shares through her own first-person experiences in a way that is both grounded and inspiring.
