Product Designer
Fabio Salvador usually refines product development using CAD tools such as SolidWorks, speeding up processes for manufacture. This powerful tool is also important in generating visuals for styling validation and 3D print prototypes for testing of functionality.
Fabio is also proficient in the workshop with metalwork, woodwork, plastics and has a reasonable understanding of electronics, being both competent and able to transform his visual ideas into 3D fully functional prototypes and/or the final product.
Solidworks
I've got a solid expertise on designing furniture, packaging and metal sheet objects. Since 2012 I start to develop my skills on consumer electronics that requires a better understanding of complex surfacing and styling.
Sketcher
As product designer, one of the most pleasurable things for Fabio is to sketch and think through his ideas. For this reason, his ideas usually have a strong sense of form.
Fabio primarily uses sketching and foam mock-ups to explore his concepts, applying styling in a structured way. Nowadays, he’s involved with design to manufacture which has allowed him transform his concepts into more refined materials in their manufacture and their assembly.
