What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy:
•Carefully listening to and understanding clients’ needs, and working collaboratively to identify suitable career options
•Being constructive and creative at enabling people to identify their career goals and being skilled in helping them achieve these
•Ensuring clients feel supported, especially during challenging and potentially vulnerable times
•Enabling people’s confidence to grow, knowing they are presenting themselves to the job market in the best way possible
What inspired you to start your own business?
I enjoy career coaching and seeing the real difference it can make not only to a client's confidence but also to their practical approach to securing the work they want. I set up my own business to do this, and also work for a national career management company and a charity that supports jobseekers to find work.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am both a registered career coach and also qualified with a Masters in Career Management & Coaching, and have a wealth of experience in working with adults of all ages on their career challenges. This includes :-
• Providing outplacement for staff facing redundancy
• Supporting people back into the workplace following a career break
• Helping students and graduates identify potential career pathways
• Working with those mid-career seeking to make changes to their worklife
I am also a mentor for my professional body, the Career Development Institute to support other career coaches.
