Dan was great! The entire experience from scheduling to the actual photo shoot was seamless and fun. Â He lined up a make-up artist to meet us at his studio, Robert, who did a fantastic job. Â And the whole photography session was enjoyable and relaxing. Â Dan is clearly a very experienced photographer --Â everything he does is very intentional. Â He made me feel really comfortable, and it shows in the photos. Â I've never had better pictures taken of me. My wife recently had professional headshots done with Dan. The best experience we've ever had doing something like this. Dan really knew his stuff, a very talented photographer. And he really made us feel comfortable from the get-go, he even took us inside his home to see his baby chickens after the shoot!!We used his make-up artist, Jara, who was also amazing! It's a flat $75 and worth every penny. She does the make-up perfect, camera-ready. The end photos were fantastic. He gave them to us right away on a USB drive. Wow! What a great personalized service and what a great time we had! Dan is super fun to work with and great at bringing out the mood you are trying to communicate in the photos. His use of lighting is stellar and we were blown away by his creativity. He really took the time to understand what we were looking for and make sure that we were nothing short of completely satisfied with the photos. This guy is top notch. Went above and beyond by coordinating a makeup artist to work on site, offered creative suggestions on poses and getting my personality to shine through the photos, experimented with different lighting, and gave me WAY more than I expected for his fees. He is approachable, friendly, easy going and clearly loves what he does. Oh! And he edited/ retouched the photos for me AND gave me the photo files, all included in his fee. SCORE! My only other experiences with professional photographers was Sears photo studio and school photos. This was so much better! :) I needed something better than a Facebook selfie for my business website. Dan and his makeup artist did a terrific job. He made me feel very comfortable. I came here to get headshots done for my office- I admit that I don't like to get my picture taken, but he did his best to make it comfortable and unawkward for me! He has a neat little studio in the back of his house. He's so nice that he even gave me some eggs from his chickens and dropped me back at my office after we were done! Guess I'm almost a regular at Fat Yeti. Here's why: Dan zooms right in on the subject at hand. I had my third "shoot" with Dan last Saturday in less than 30 minutes for a quality usable headshot, plus a few more. I'm comfortable, he asks what the picture is for - the goal of it, and what I wanted it to say - then he delivered. And quick. I saw the shots immediately, we talked about them, and I was on my way. Totally satisfied, just like the first 2 shoots. My first shoot was during a Pride Weekend when he had a polaroid booth in Fischer Pavillion. Second was a pet portrait of my beloved weiner dog, Otter. Nailed it all 3 times. I'll keep coming back....you'll see me and my pets and friends again soon, Dan! Thanks!~ More...

I'm not the kind of person who's ever enjoyed being in front of a camera but I needed some revamped headshots so I called Fat Yeti. And I'm so glad I did. I can't say enough about Dan - he's fun, he's professional and he managed to bring out a side of me that I didn't think existed - the photogenic one!Seriously, he managed to capture some truly fabulous photos and not just standard corporate headshot stuff, but natural character shots that I feel really bring out my personality. I absolutely love them.I'll add that Dan was also really flexible and accommodating on the timing front plus he was able to arrange for a makeup artist to touch me up beforehand (all at a very reasonable cost).
