I had never used an interior designer before and to be honest I was a bit apprehensive! However after the first meeting with David and Al I knew they were right for my project. They put me at ease straight away with their friendly, professional and collaborative approach. They carefully considered my requirements whilst creating a look that not only delivered my needs but surpassed anything I could have ever envisaged. Am so pleased with my living room and definitely recommend F&C. Anna. Earlsfield, SW London More...

I loved working with David and Al, they're a goldmine of ideas. They showed great passion for our kitchen project. Incorporating their ideas has made it work for us and look more expensive than it actually was. They're now our 'go to' guys for any further interior design help and advice.

We seriously didn’t know what to expect when we hired F&C and they have absolutely blown us away. We didn’t think they would be able to give us the luxury feel that we wanted in the space and budget we had. But they have blown our expectations out of the water; we are stunned and delighted at the end result. Thank you David and Al, you are amazing! Nick and Rebecca, Hampton Court More...

Q&As

However big or small your project, we always recommend an initial meeting, preferably face to face at the property or via video call. This first consultation is totally free and helps to establish whether we’re the right guys to help you. After the initial free consultation, where we’ll have spoken to you about your requirements and gained an in-depth understanding of the brief, we will then provide you with an estimate for your project.

We pride ourselves in giving a flexible service - from a few hours of our time presenting mood boards offering advice and inspiration; through to the design and sourcing of your interiors for a single room or a complete property.

We present (face to face) two mood boards that include the development of two concepts based on the requirements you’ve briefed us on. Our mood boards bring the design concepts to life showing you the theme, colour palettes, fabrics, furniture solutions and more, so you get a real feel for your stunning new look. After the presentation of the first two mood boards we will then work on a third and final mood board incorporating your feedback. We’ll then meet with you again to share the final mood board.

If you don’t have the time to manage the actual redesign, we’re very happy to take away all the hassle and do it for you. This can include all or some of the following:

- Ordering of new furniture
- Being on site to receive deliveries
- Sourcing of paint, tiles and fabrics
- Arranging tradespeople i.e. decorators, electricians and plumbers
- ‘Staging’ the room to bring everything together to maximise the impact of your newly designed space

We can cater for any style - we listen to our clients and ask them the right questions to gain an insight into their tastes. We'll then ensure we follow the style that best matches our clients' wishes. This could be any or even a combination of a couple of these, for example: Modern, Contemporary to Mid Century Modern, or Minimalist, Industrial, Scandi, Traditional, Vintage/Eclectic to Hollywood Regency and more!

There are many reasons why we love being interior designers - the top 3 are as follows:

- By far the biggest reason is that great feeling when we see client's faces and reactions when you know they're buying into your ideas and getting really excited - it gives us a brilliant buzz and sense of achievement.

- Secondly, is the freedom to be creative and using that creativity practically, to enhance and change spaces that positively impacts on our client's lifestyle and the way they live and work. It's a big responsibility to get it right but so rewarding!

- Thirdly, is simply doing something that we both love and are passionate about.

After working for big companies for many years we decided we wanted to bring a more personalised service to clients offering flexibility and individuality. For example seeing clients at a time that suits them, to fit in with their busy lifestyles - so meeting with them in the evenings and at weekends, in person or even over FaceTime if they so choose.

We are creative and innovative but above all practical with a passion for affordable great design - transforming people's home or work spaces as well as their lives.
