Our program starts with a 10 week challenge that helps members begin their fitness journey working closely with a personal coach. Members then continue on with a variety of membership options to help maintain a healthy lifestyle.

This gym has changed my life so much. I came in as a self professed hater of exercise but wanted to challenge myself to be better and healthier for my family. Great program. I lost 16 lbs and 6.3% bodyfat, gained nearly 4 pounds of muscle lost two pant sizes. Will continue to do it as now my goal is to slash bodyfat in half and continue to add muscle and I am confident FXB will get me there. Hope to see an ab or two or three eventually? The workouts are tough yet able to do them and they actually go fast. Nutrition plan is actually easier to do than cutting carbs or doing any other fad diets. Kip and Lacy are very approachable and helpful. I'd encourage anyone who wants to get better to do this. More...

This place is more than just a gym, it really is like a family. The motivation, energy, and accountability from everyone here is what has kept me coming back for almost 3 years. Oct 13th I started the 10 week challenge and committed, to myself, to be there everyday. This challenge ended for me today. I am happy to say lost over 5% body fat, 14.5 overall inches and 8 pounds. Notice I put in order, the numbers of the most importance, to overall health. It isn’t the pounds. The number on the scale should not define you. The first two numbers speak for themselves. What is the secret? Putting yourself as the priority! Everything else falls into place. That means when you are sore you still come to class, when you are tired, you still come to class, when you are discouraged because you can’t feel or see a change that week, you still come to class. Finish it out! This gym is a community of people that are there for you everyday, believing in you, even if you don’t believe in yourself. It is a process. Let it work. Nutrition isn’t as hard as it may seem once you get in the groove. You workout 6 days a week. You can eat a the same number of carbs as you do protein. You learn the right carbs and fats. Educational and motivating. 45 minutes fly by most days. You can modify the moves as needed and still get results. You just have to keep moving. I highly recommend this program for anyone wanting to commit to a change. I won’t lie, it wasn’t always easy but if it came easy it wouldn’t produce the results you are looking for! Thanks to all of my 6:00 am classmates for being there with me and the graduated FIT students. I am in awe of all of you and wondered how you all do want you do on the mat. Farrell's is a great gym! I love all the trainers. It's a class only based gym. I think the $80 a month isn't truly a competitive rate mostly because the class times are few. I'm leaving after this month because my schedule just doesn't work for the gym. I leave for work at 6:15 am and finish at 5:30. This make the 5:10 am impossible for me and he 5:45 pm a close call. If they had a 6:45pm class and a later Saturday class, I think I'd be staying. Really a great community just needs some minor class time/pricing tweeks. These other reviews are silly.if you make the class times you'll be ripped. If you work 9-5 and like classes this is the perfect gym for you. More...

Farrell’s is awesome! I’m in my 8th week of the program now but when I started I hadn’t exercised in years and I’ve never attended group fitness classes because I was always intimidated. I have truly enjoyed attending the 10 week program so far! The environment is fun, positive, encouraging and inviting. Jeremy and Jacque (instructors and owners) do an excellent job leading the classes and keep them fun. The workouts are challenging but they remind you to work to your own personal “level 10.” Kickboxing days are my favorite but the resistance band days are fun too (just a slower pace). In my 8 weeks I’ve become SO much stronger and have started to see positive changes in my body. Excited to finish up my 10 week program and become a fit member! I highly recommend Farrell’s Mankato! There is nothing comparable to what they have to offer you here! Farrell's eXtreme Bodyshaping Denver...how much I miss it! I held a 24hr membership for over 4 years and it did nothing for me but this program I absolutely fell in love with! It starts out with a 10-week work out program, Monday-Saturday, 45 mins a day. 3 days of the week you do intense cardio kick boxing & the other 3 days you do strength training. You're thinking right now, kick boxing? Me? No way on earth. But trust me, this program is for anyone! The classes have people that range from 15-year-old high school students to 65-year-old retirees. It's built for anyone and everyone! The instructors are so supportive and really go above & beyond any instructor I have ever seen. They not only want to make sure you are getting everything you can out of the class but also making sure you are doing it safely. The other students in the class are also incredible, you build bonds and friendships with your fellow classmates, plus you become a huge support network! Now, trust me, the hardest most difficult part of the whole thing is showing up, if you don't show up, you will not see the results. Just wanted to thank Farrell's Extreme Body Shaping. My girlfriend Brittany and I signed up for there 10 week challenge that we just finished today. It is a really great environment that pushes you to accomplish your goals. Brittany and I both agreed that trying to go to the gym wasn't working and we needed accountability and someone to push us every day. We signed up, not really knowing what we were getting into, to get back into shape and to work out together. After a week or two of barely being able to finish the work outs, it started becoming a habit. I think its safe to say neither of us regret waking up at 6:30 every morning to go the the gym anymore. Since then we have both seen great results and have been working out 6 days a week. It really is a great program and I have lost close to 20 lbs in the last two and a half months, and I'm in the best shape I have been in since I left highschool wrestling. If you're looking for an activity for your kiddos to be involved in, check out Farrell's in Beaverdale for tae kwondo. My mini me has been active in TKD since  2015. What started off as a 10 week introductory course, she's now on the road to  a black belt. The instructors are patient and engaging. They help  build confidence, teach respect and responsibility, and remind kiddos to clean their rooms. For a 3 digit monthly expense, my mini me can go to as many scheduled classes she wants to refine her skill. Quarterly belt promotions keeps her motivated and the occasional parents night out event allows us to sneak away for a few hours while they keep the kids active with games, pizza and a movie. For adults looking to get fit, they offer group classes that I've yet to sign up for. Both my father in law and sister in law lost weight, built muscle and now live a healthier lifestyle thanks to their 10 week fitness program. My sister in law even won $1,000 during her 10 week challenge at the WDSM location. Farrell's is a positive influence in our tight knit Beaverdale neighborhood. Amazingplace! The 10 week challenge is a great way to start. Gives you all the information you need to start a good workout routine. It was a no brainer to sign up as a fit member after that. I love starting my day here. The instructors, coaches and all members are so supportive and encouraging. Nothing but positivity there and I love it. FXB New Hope is a place to work out, feel accepted, be encouraged, and see results! The workouts are tough no matter how long you've been a member. I finished my 10 week session in December and now I'm a FIT member. I drive 25 miles everyday just to come work out with the amazing owners, instructors, coaches, and all the members of this gym. I always wanted to live a healthier life, but I was NEVER into exercise, nutrition, or a healthy lifestyle until I came to chat with a few people here at FXB. I tried the classes and loved them, I thought the nutrition was going to be tough but with the support and help you receive it makes it a lot easier. I learned so many ways to live a healthier lifestyle and now it's a part of life. I highly recommend trying a workout, having a chat with one of the owners, or giving the 10 weeks a shot. I had heard about Farrell's in the past and have had friends try it out before. They all looked great after their 10 weeks and raved about the program. The one thing that held me back was being scared to start a new intense workout. I have done similar workouts in the past but never a program where the expectation was to be there 6 days a week for 10 weeks. A little intimidating, huh?! But after speaking with the owner Chad I decided to commit to the program and the process and I am so happy with my decision. You start with a group of people who are at the same level you are (and just as nervous) who become your support system and friends by the end of the 10 weeks. The workouts consist of kickboxing (which has been a great stress relief!) and strength training with resistance bands. They ensure the workouts are not too difficult when you start. They also set you up with a nutrition program that focuses on getting enough protein and carbs in which was a relief that I wasn't going to be starving or carb depriving myself for 10 weeks. You even get a cheat day once a week that helped me feed my taco and margarita addiction for the week :) The results I received in the 10 weeks were amazing. I definitely saw physical changes but I was also happier, less stressed, more confident, and extremely proud of myself for achieving this goal I thought I never could. I now continue my journey as a fit member and look forward to my workout every day. My advice to you: Don't let your nerves get in the way of your success! More...

I am a member at FXB and, overall, am a supporter and endorser of their programs, staff, hours, and location.  It is a great 45 minute fairly high intensity work out and since you work out with others, there is some "peer pressure" to keep the pace which is a good thing.  I do feel they could be better at "coaching," you kind of just get thrown in and could dramatically improve being more consultative regarding diet (which is just as crucial as working out, if not more).  Also, at times it gets crowded but could just be a sign how popular this place has become.  Overall, no "major" complaints.  Good people and members are mostly suburban moms and dads looking to get back into shape. I was a little hesitant joining FXB, but I am glad that I did.  After my 10 week program, I ended up losing 17 lbs and 4% body fat.  I now have signed up to continue my journey to fitness.  I love the classes, as it is never the same thing and all the instructors are very good and showing you correct techniques and getting you to push yourself.  Glad I signed up and would recommend this gym to anyone who needs a jumpstart on fitness and is tired of the same old routine at other gyms. I signed up very nervous about the program and not sure if I was able to keep up at my age but everyone there is at their own pace in the program and the instructors do a great job of teaching everyone at their level and always encouraging us to be better - I have gone thru the 10 week program and now am a fit member and I'm loving it and no longer worry about how I'm doing........just want to keep getting better - The 45 minute classes go by so fast and for me it is the best workout I've had in years - I look forward to my time on the mat each morning! This place is awesome.  My husband and I did their 10 week program last year.  One thing I love about it is they measure your progress- day one, 5 weeks in and again at 10 weeks.  It is a great combination of kickboxing workouts and strength training.  Many workout times throughout the day to choose from-and the transformations I have seen are amazing!   You can stay on as a "FIT" member (month to month membership) after the 10 weeks is completed.  The trainers are super fun, Chad and Heather are my favorite-great upbeat music and great people.  They also get together outside the gym to run 5Ks, hike 14ers, tough mudders, Manitou Incline, etc...very supportive group of people and will make you feel welcome and teach you "all the moves" no matter what type of shape your are in.  Prices are very competitive with what other fitness programs charge. It's been one year since I joined Farrell's and I can attest that the 10-Week program works and that being a Fit Member is awesome! A friend of mine told me she was joining the 10-week program and I thought: What the hell, I'll join you. The price was right and I felt very welcomed on Orientation Day. We were told what we should be eating and asked to reach out if we needed help. The 1st day kicked my ass & I loved it! I thought: How many times have a driven to other gyms, walked around deciding on a machine, questioned if I was doing the exercise correctly and left feeling like I didn't get a good workout? That hasn't happened once at Farrell's. The instructors are great, they'll remind the class to use proper form, but I especially love that they challenge you!!! Instructors ask DAILY to see them if you have any questions, members are friendly, there's parking and there's a party every 12-14 weeks or so! :)  My friend, who did a better job sticking to meal plan than I did, lost 18 lbs! I lost 12 lbs during my 10-week challenge. I feel accomplished, happy and inspired to continue my fitness journey at Farrell's. More...

I have joined several other gyms and programs with failure to stay motivated with the exception of Farrell's. The owners are supportive motivational and genuine. I heard about this place from my friends who were having great results. After having two kids I wanted to loose this pregnancy weight that had crept up on me. So with encouragement from my husband I decided to give it a try. I have never worked out or taken any classes since high school so I was super nervous about doing this. When I walked in the door for orientation I was greeted by warm smiles and the head coach Jason was so nice and knowledgable. They have you do a fitness assessment so you can compare yourself at the end. I had jake as my coach for the 10 week session. He was great. He would send us weekly recipes to try and sent out group emails every Saturday encouraging us and motivating us to keep going. The instructors were great at explaining all workout routines to us slowly so I could wrap my head around all of this newness. But come first two weeks of class I was so nervous, I kept mixing up the routine.  Punching left when I was told to punch right. Not keeping my guard up but the instructors happily kept stepping in and helping me and encouraging me to try it again and again and again.  And you have all of the members who have done the 10 week program partner with you and cheer you all along. Jason who is the head coach was really the motivation that has kept me going since last oct. his encouragement and his motivation in class are the best. He is always there to take the time and sit down and go over my food logs and any proper form problems I have.  At the end of my 10 weeks I lost 16 pounds and my biggest accomplishment is loosing almost 5" off my waist. 2" off my thighs and 1" off my arms. I would really recommend this place for anyone who wants to start taking charge of their health and fitness. More...

Came here last night as a guest, for the kickboxing class! Some friends who just completed the 10 week challenges and lost 10+ inches off their bodies raved about this program.  The facility is open and has a raw feel. The instructor, Dan who is also the owner definitely keeps the energy pumping. The class is 45 minutes and gets straight to the point.  I'd love to be able to corn 2x a week but you have to complete the 10week challenge first.  Great workout, a mix of cardio kick boxing and strength training. Farrell's has become a huge part of my life. After the 10 Week program I decided to become a member. as their class times, and location work great for my family. After 10 weeks of getting up at 5am for the 6am Class, it became easy, even in the winter. I have tons of energy, and sleep like a rock. I'm always in a great mood, and it's cool knowing that my workout is done well before 9am. The people have been awesome, and it has a "community" vibe. I looked at every workout program/style in the city, and none of them can match the intensity of the kickboxing classes. The Resistance Band Classes are no joke! After working with weights and machines, the bands are a refreshing change. The class environment keeps you from slacking. Sometimes you may need to take a breather, and that's not frowned upon. It's not competitive, and the members are very encouraging. If you are looking for a welcoming workout environment that gets results, this is it! More...

Dubuque FXB changed my life! I was welcomed with open arms and treated like family. Everyone is in it together and are very supportive along the way. I loved going to class each day because I got to know everyone and we held each other accountable to show up and give it 100%. I really enjoyed working out as a class, because when I workout alone I don't push myself enough. Also, I did see results during my 10 week challenge. That was refreshing since I had tried EVERYTHING to lose weight. I've moved away from Dubuque and after 3 years, I still haven't found a workout that compares to Dubuque FXB. Everyone there is so wonderful and I recommend it to anyone looking to make a healthier change in their lifestyle! This is not your normal gym.  First, to be a member, you have to go through the 10 week challenge.  One participant from each session wins $1000 for the most dramatic transformation.  After that, you can stay on as a FIT member.  No one, including the owner, is allowed to be involved  with Farrell's until they have gone through the 10 week challenge.  The schedule basically involves strength training three days a week alternating with kickboxing/cardio three days a week, with Sunday off.  There are class times to fit just about any schedule and the owner Chad and his staff are awesome.  It doesn't matter your fitness level, or your prior gym knowledge (or lack of).  Everyone here is welcomed with open arms.  All of the FIT members were encouraging to me and I never felt left out or that I didn't belong.  This gym has changed my life and my wife's life for the better, if you are looking to join a family oriented, positive, upbeat gym, look no further.  It's hard work, which they do not try to sugar coat, but man it feels good to see that number on the scale going down, not up!  They offer free trials and a money back offer, so you have no excuse.  Get in here and see why this little gym has changed the lives of so many people! When it comes to finding a good fitness program, it really doesn't get better than Farrell's. I completed my 10 Week Challenge in March of this year. During those ten weeks, I lost 17 pounds, 4% body fat and 15" overall. There are some main aspects of Farrell's that stand out to me:Classes: The kickboxing classes are fun, high energy and an incredible workout. The instructors are great and keep you on your toes with all different types of workouts - from partner work, stations or "Fun Friday". The strength training classes utilize different levels of resistance bands and medicine balls for all different types of workouts which keeps them challenging and fun. In addition, there are many class times to choose from when you sign up, so you can find one that fits your schedule well.Environment: After a long day at work, sometimes the last place I want to go is the gym, no matter how fun the workouts are - and that's where the support system I've found at FXB is key. I've made great friends through the program that I enjoy spending time with both on and off the mat. They keep me both motivated and accountable. There are people in all different places of their fitness journey at FXB. Some have never worked out in their life and some have been at Farrell's for years. When I started, I preferred to take the elevator at work so people couldn't hear me breathing heavily on the stairs. I was nervous people would look at me and judge like they have at other "large scale" gyms when I used to jog on the treadmill for hours. But I was more than pleasantly surprised. Not only did nobody put me down and said I couldn't do it, but instead encouraged and supported me as I started my journey to be healthier. Nobody looks down on anyone else at FXB, no matter your fitness level, size or ability. We are all there to support each other.Program: One of the things that made Farrell's work for me (and continue to work for me) is the overall approach to health & fitness. During the 10 Week Challenge you don't just focus on what the scale says but also how you're progressing through body measurements, body fat %, cardio endurance and much more. There's three main parts of the program: kickboxing, strength training and NUTRITION. The focus on nutrition is a key factor - it really opened my eyes to what I was putting in my body and how it was making me feel. There's no strict diet regimens, no avoiding certain food groups, no crazy cleanses or meticulously counting every single calorie - just a solid approach to eating well in order to fuel your body and meet (and exceed) your goals.I know my review was long, but I can't say enough good things about this program. Sure, it's a little more expensive than the $10/month membership at other gyms, but it is so worth it. This location is owned and run by the same folks at the Lincoln Park location. And I have to say, I was skeptical of the whole thing. It seemed like some boring aerobics class. Then a friend explained the inches and weight lost doing the 10 week program, and I got intrigued... You have to understand, I am not a gym rat. I used to run a half marathon every year, but I started to half ass them, and gained a lot of weight. It had been about 8 years since I had stepped into a gym, and I needed something. I was about to need to buy a new belt because my old one was getting too small. I was on the last hole.I signed up. It was a real butt kicker at first, but if you stick with it, you will be amazed by how good you get in 10 weeks. I went from 20 situps, 12 pushups, and a 10:50 minute mile to 44 situps, 24 pushups, and an 8:45 minute mile. I lost almost 30 lbs, and a whole mess of inches over my body. I have stuck with it for around 8 months, I am now down 40 lbs, and I am going to need to buy a new belt because my old one is now too big!The people are really supportive, kind, and helpful. Cardio kickboxing strength training with bands, I was skeptical at first but this is best cardio I have ever done other then playing ice hockey. The strength training uses exercise bands again I was skeptical I lift regular at another gym and this work is intense. This workout is 45 minutes but you don't stop the entire time. They do a 10 week for challenge so that you learn the moves and can practice and master them before they really speed up. Once you start hitting the bag it makes the whole thing awesome a really sick way to take our energy and stress. More...

Unbelievable , not enough words for how lucky I feel I have stumbled upon such an incredible place. I'm a slacker and cheater when it comes to exercise and I have a million excuses. This is not your average gym, and that's a good thing!   The owners are more like family.  When you first join, you sign up for their 10 week program.  Once finished, you become a FIT member. The classes consist of kickboxing and strength training, as well as nutrition counseling.  The instructors have all been through the program.  It's not cheap, but it's backed by their guarantee and so very worth it.   You can also win the $1,000 prize at the end!!   Stop by and try a class.  You won't regret it.
