This is our go to place when we know the food is going to be great. Food was amazing as was the service. A must go to on the East end!

We were on our way back home to NYc when we found this gem! Amazing service! They helped us so much with selection of wine which took us forever! We ordered mussels( delicious! ), clams, duck breast and pasta with scallops. Duck was tender and amazing, pasta was alright as well. Beautiful place with a patio next to the river. Definitely will be back in the summer More...

Crozy restaurant, with the view of the river. The food was excellent! Great presentation and very affordable. It is not a family oriented restaurant. There is no children’s menu. They do try to accommodate small children with a plate of pasta, but my finicky eater did not like it! We should have checked the menu before going with my little one. Otherwise I recommend this place! More...

Little place right by the water which is super peaceful and very nice. There is a nice seating area outside with a fire pit and some space warmers to keep warm while you wait on a chilly day. The food was good my wife and I shared the clams as an app and we also shared the lexington sandwich with potato salad. The clams were good but the sandwich was fantastic and the potato salad was super delicious as well. Price wasn't to bad either. More...

Adorable little house! Everyone is right though, they do cram the tables in! Really cutely appointed though, and the staff were all very friendly and pleasant. Some of the dinner items are priced pretty high, but the portions are big. We all split a few items: the best thing we got was the buttata and artichoke appetizer. Nothing was super novel/creative but the flavors were all solid. More...

Cozy restaurant - old house so seating is a bit snug. Loved the ambiance though. Delicious food - only wish the portions were a bit larger for the amount they charge you for dinner plate. My husband ordered ravioli and got a plate with only 4 ravioli - that's like an appetizer for him. And it was close to $25 for those ravioli. I've heard it's better to go for lunch for sandwiches...but haven't been yet. More...

Love love this hidden gem. Brunch is always good here no matter if it was last year when I first discovered this place or today when I revisited for brunch. Autumn is the better month out of the 2. Service and coffee are always good here. Prices are so reasonable. Must try if you are in the area! More...

Small, cozy. Perfect for dinner overlooking river. Food was delicious as was dessert. Little parking but the refurbished cottage was quite adorable. Off season is the time to go.

One of my favourite restaurants on Long Island. Don't be deceived by the fact it's on the side of a busy road. On the other side is a beautiful lake and the view is amazing. Food is incredible, can't go wrong with anything beef. The Apple pie is unreal! More...

Excellent food. Helpful wait staff. My wife couldn't decide between one of the pasta dishes and the duck. So they offered to substitute the pasta dish she wanted in place of the sweet potato that came with the duck. Not cheap, but worth it.

This quaint spot was by far the best date night out my partner and I have had in a long time. From the romantic ambiance, to the awesome service from Ashley an impromptu chat with the incredible Chef Todd. My advice is to not pass up this golden gem. Myself and many others go here all the time. It is a quaint warm quiet home style setting, great view of the river in Riverhead. A hidden gem, we go here for lunch and dinner all the time. Lunch, for what you get is extremely inexpensive and you can tell the food is cooked by true culinary connoisseurs. Everything is absolutely delicious. You can order a bottle of wine or bring your own. Dinner is priced fair and is excellent regards to quality and quantity. The service is perfect. Will be back, will be going tonight, and definitely reccomend.

Me and the family checked this place out on Sunday for lunch. It's very easy to pass this place and not notice it's beauty because it's right off a busy road. I decided to stop and check it out first before bringing the family inside. Initial glance is not impressive but you will be pleasantly surprised by the beautiful setting and garden on the river. Eat outside on a picnic table or inside up to you.

I got the rack of lamb and my wife tried to get the duck but they were sold out; she settled for the steak. The kids split a sandwich.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but I ordered the lamb medium rare and it was cooked all the way through. My wife ordered medium and her's was well done. Other than that everything was unique n tasted good. Oh the asparagus could have been flavored better, I was the only one who ate it.

We would come back again.

First time eating in this cozy 1880's house turned restaurant. Staff was extremely friendly and provided great service. Screened in outdoor seating filled up pretty quick and felt a bit claustrophobic during peak time. They do have "outdoor-outdoor" seating, as well as an upstairs dining area. Food was great, no complaints there. Will definitely go again and try more of the menu. More...
