Janice and her wonderful team made our party absolutely amazing! The food was sublime and every selection was mouthwatering, local and delicious. There wasn't one course that we wouldn't recommend or look forward to enjoy again. The cuisine was also extremely thoughtful about its locale and fresh ingredients. Janice catered our intimate wedding reception of 11 people at a house we rented in Princeville and did an incredible job! We were blown away ! The food was delicious and the coconut cheesecake (which we customized with raspberry coulis) was incredible! The best cheesecake I have ever had and covered in delicate flowers! In addition to the cake, we had the catch of the day, chicken with fig, roasted vegetables, salad with avocado/grapefruit, and an amazing cheese platter. Yum!Janice was very professional and made planning from Chicago easy. She worked with us on options when we had last-minute changes on the number of guests as well as helped us customize our menu and was ready to bring additional plates/cups, etc. if the house we were staying at didn't have enough. I must say, she by far exceeded other catering companies I had contacted with her professionalism and work ethic. Finally, Janice and her assistant (who is an artist) did a wonderful and tasteful decoration while we were at the ceremony! Janice catered our intimate reception for 15 and was beyond amazing. She exceeded absolutely all expectations. It was the best meal we had the entire 2 weeks we were in Hawaii. She was so easy to work with and accommodated the many vegetarians we had. I just cannot put into words how yummy the food was. Her and the staff were very polite, attentive, and accommodating. The tableware they provided was so perfect. We felt like movie stars for the night. They even stayed to serve champagne and cut the cake. I couldn't have asked for more. We had Janice cook a private dinner for the two for us on our wedding night after eloping in Kauai. She arrived at our hotel while we were finishing pictures to start our dishes and when we got home she served us the most amazing three course meal! Everything was delicious, flavorful, fresh, and presented beautifully! She was very professional, flexible with our food choices (we opted to have an extra appetizer and skip the salad course) and I cannot recommend her enough! I wish I could take her home with me! We had Janice cater a private dinner for a group of 8 at a home we rented in Poipu. Â She did an amazing job...from the awesome tasting cocktails to the incredibly tasteful dishes. Â The ahi bruschetta appetizer was absolutely delicious as were all of the dishes (seared nori and sesame crusted ahi, pork tacos, grilled vegetables, sweet potatoes, and salad). Janice also served an amazing coconut lilikoi cheesecake that was so light and flavorful. Â In addition to the incredible cocktails and food she prepared, she was super personable and professional. I can not say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Janice at Farm Cook. She is amazing. While planning our Kauai wedding from San Diego my original caterer backed out 90 days before the event. I was able to book with Janice and it was the biggest blessing! She was SO attentive, creative and flexible in working with our idea of a fun, causal back yard wedding. Planning a destination wedding can sometimes be stressful and she made it fun and easy!Now lets get to the important stuff; the food! After working with my husband and I to plan our own personal menu to meet our budget and wants we were left with an amazing menu. Everyone raved about the food and how delish it was! We had some dietary restrictions that Janice was able to accommodate as well. Fresh, local, sustainable amazing quality food and service to match?! Janice came to our vacation rental house and did a dinner for a group of five.  She was easy to contact, responsive, and got back to me with menu options quickly.  We had two vegans in the group and they had loads of choices.  Janice accommodated a last minute change with no problem.  She easily cooked in our vacation rental's kitchen and brought everything that she needed to prepare the meal.  Janice set the table, cleaned up after each course and even brought us homemade coconut water to drink.  She was considerate of the timing of the courses and was able to communicate during the meal without disrupting the flow of the conversation amongst our guests.The food was delicious and  nicely presented.  Sourced locally and organic. Very creative appetizers and entrees that were loved by the vegans and meat-eaters alike. There was a lot of food, we are still having leftovers.  Everyone thought the food was spectacular and it was so nice to eat gourmet food that has been the best that we've had on the island from our deck overlooking the ocean. Really delicious food! They serve traditional Hawaiian dishes prepared with very fresh local ingredients. Also they have a very friendly and knowledgable staff who were happy to explain some of the history and customs of the dishes they were serving and culture of the islands. Janice catered my wedding and I can't say enough wonderful things about her, the food, or her staff. It's hard to choose a caterer for a destination wedding since you don't get to sample the menu. I trusted that it would be good because she goes to great lengths to work with local, organic ingredients. Â The food was well beyond my expectations! I doubt there is a better caterer on the island.
