Fanny did my makeup for my wedding in August of this year and she was quite simply fantastic! I wanted a less traditional wedding look - red lips and smoky eyes - and Fanny was incredibly accommodating. Before the big day, I went for had a trial at her house, having sent through a few pictures of looks for reference, and Fanny had everything prepared to achieve my desired look. She was also incredibly accommodating of my friend (whose makeup she also did) and her baby. I’ve never had my makeup done professionally but Fanny made me feel completely relaxed and at ease. After the trial, I went out for the whole day and evening to see how the makeup would last and it was nothing short of amazing - everything stayed in place and I was so pleased. I have oily skin which becomes a shiny very quickly but having explained this, Fanny used products suitable for my skin and that more importantly, actually worked. I gave her my feedback from the trial and on the morning of the wedding itself, Fanny arrived promptly for the very early start and had perfected the look even more. I have quite simply never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day and this is down to Fanny’s fabulous skills. My make up stayed in place perfectly (didn’t have to touch up once!) and I am so happy looking back through our photos - I felt like a movie star. More over, Fanny is lovely, calm and professional, everything a bride would want as they are getting ready for their day and I am so happy I was able to book her. I booked Fanny for my legal wedding ceremony only a few weeks before the big day. I found her through a facebook group and from her instagram gallery I knew that she would be perfect for the look I was after. Fanny and I discussed what products I prefer and I really appreciated that she uses hypoallergenic and animal-friendly make up. I exchanged pictures of the looks I like and she asked what lipstick I would feel comfortable in. On the day Fanny was bubbly, punctual, professional and patient. (Even when applying my lashes for the 3rd time because one insisted on poking me!) She also saved the day with extra bobby and safety pins for me and Mum. Fanny is so passionate about her job that from start to finish I knew I was in good hands and walked in and out of Hackney Town Hall feeling like a complete bombshell of a Bride!
