James catered for my back garden wedding and did a fantastic job, letting himself in and setting up without us there so we got to come home from the ceremony to find him set up ready for our guests. Everyone commented on the food which went down really well. I personally had the 'Italian Fries' which were absolutely fantastic :) I would definitely recommend him again to anyone. We used Fancy Fries for our wedding back in June 2017 and they were brilliant. Not only was the food incredible, especially the waffles, but there was plenty of it, no one went hungry and everyone went back up for more. James is a lovely bloke, he always responded quickly when we had a question, helpful and professional.

If you're thinking about hiring Fancy Fries for your event then do it! We just had Fancy Fries for our wedding and they were just utterly fantastic. Even though all our guests had just finished a huge meal they loved these fries so much that we ended up needing extra (which James was able to cater for no problems). Not only did our guests love the food but they also loved how friendly the team were.
We will absolutely book these guys for any event we have in the future and would thoroughly recommend you do the same! More...

Thank you James and team for fabulous food and service at our 25th wedding anniversary party last night. Everyone enjoyed your amazing Fries and toppings and desserts. Agree with another reviewer that you have been excellent to deal with, responding to emails quickly, nothing too much trouble.
We didn't want a party buffet and Fancy Fries was the perfect alternative! Good hot food on an icy December night!

We used fancy fries as late night food for our village hall style wedding and would recommend them! The fish was tasty and had a light and very crisp batter around it! The chips are homemade and you can tell, also very good. Excellent mushy peas, whats not to like!The price is not cheap but I think it's worth it if you want high quality food and as we had numerous chefs and restaurant industry people there we wanted to impress, which which we did! We booked Fancy fries relatively last minute for a party at home that had got out of hand on the numbers front. James was great from the start - quick to quote and confirm, clear and flexible. I wanted the kids food served on a platter so parents could serve as they liked, then adults to come to the van after that, and this was no trouble. The fish and chips were first class! Everyone kept saying it was such a treat! Without Fancy Fries I would have spent the whole party serving, sorting, clearing but instead I could really relax and enjoy it having someone else cater. So easy to clear up a after as well with the take away boxes and wooden cutlery.I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. James is a lovely guy. More...
