Having a wide range of clients with a variety of life experiences that I can interact with in a way that is both professional and friendly.

The earliest and most long-standing clients came to me first of all and it grew from there!

I will give them a personal service that recognises their worth as individuals, whatever it is that they do. The cleaner whose turnover is £10,000 per annum is just as important as the executive whose salary exceeds £100,000! My skill is in numbers but I don't treat the clients as if they are one.

We are happy to receive information from clients in whatever format they are most comfortable with - whether that is via e-mail, using file sharing services such as Dropbox, or on paper. We can do online identity verification checks for new clients or can see them in person.

We encourage clients to get paperwork to us without personal contact if possible. Many documents can be sent electronically but if they do not want to do this and also prefer not to rely on the postal system they can hand deliver documents through a secure letterbox and we will acknowledge safe receipt as soon as practicable thereafter. We do online identity verification of new clients so a meeting in person to which you would bring ID documents is not required, although we will still do these if the client prefers. We try to avoid all use of plastic wrapping and other materials which can carry the COVID virus for some time, using paper and card where possible which absorb the COVID virus more quickly, and we encourage clients to do this also.

Services

We assist individuals with the preparation and submission of their personal tax returns. This includes advising them of their tax liabilities and when these need to be paid, and sending reminders about forthcoming deadlines.

We prepare annual accounts for Limited Companies and advise the clients of their forthcoming Corporation Tax liabilities.

We prepare VAT returns for our VAT registered clients, send them out for approval, file them online and advise clients how much VAT needs to be paid. We also monitor the turnover of our non-VAT registered clients and advise them about possible registration for VAT.

We run payrolls for clients who employ people, including both companies with just one director on the payroll and those with other employees as well. For new employers we will set up the PAYE scheme at no extra charge. Where appropriate we will also set up pension schemes for employers and automatically enrol their employees into these.

We advise clients on the best time to be converting from being a sole trader to commencing as a Limited Company and do the incorporations for them. We also provide ongoing Company Secretarial Services for existing companies such as filing of the annual Confirmation Statement and notifying Companies House of changes.

We undertake the process of preparing and submitting Gift Aid claims in respect of charities who are clients of ours.
