To anyone who is charmed by the title fairytale! This is more nightmare than fairytale. She is a total con artist! And i would not give her any stars for her attitude towards her customers.
Conned out of £7000 on £2200 dress purchase!
I came and tried some dresses on when Ella was in the shop and she seemed very pleasant. Once i put down my deposit on a Ronald Joyce £1800 dress and i also bought a dress for my 2 year old. She wanted £500 to include a £100 for adding some sparkley netting. They wanted an extra £600 for alterations to my dress. I was going to have the arms taken off and made into cap sleeving. I then returned when Rula was there! I played right into her hands!
i feared the train wasnt long enough and felt pretty conned when Rula said it would be an extra £2500 to extend the train. She wanted cash for a £200 reduction. I was in a tight time frame only 6 months away so i agreed to it... i then totally regretted it but i had ordered it and stood by my promise. I should have used my better judgement! I paid an extra £150 for rushing the job it was still 6 months away. The dress was supposed to come in May but it didnt end up coming to 2 weeks off my wedding! Rula knew my emotions would be high! She still charged me the rush fee.
Rula then went on to charge me another £330 for taking up my 2 year old daughters dress plus an inch on the short arms. Another £235 for a corset which the other lady told me would be included in the already expensive £600 alterations
And still another £200 on the arms because i decided to leave the sleeves on the dress... she said it was more work to take sleeves in and that was not included in the £600 alteration fee. As well as an extra hoop which a smaller amount
The total dresses purchase was £2200 and i ended up paying £6925 . Go figure! There are lots of lovely dress shops. Its an emotional time for a bride and if i could have refused to pay i would have. When i complained to her it was obvious she wasnt going to back down and i left in tears with a dress that i actually did not wear to my wedding day! The experience i had in this shop devastated me and i could not face wearing a dress where this lady Rula had bearfaced conned me out of my well earnt money and a bridal present from my parents. Please do not give this lady your custom you will end up in tears!

A lady working at fairy tale London putney branch worked effortlessly well via videocall to deliver my wedding dress in one day for my date next week and regardless of the current situation she managed and instantly removed my stress!
She bought back my smile, especially that it was the only dress in the shop that fitted me without trying it on, just by taking my measurements through the phone.
She saved my wedding, God bless her!! The dress turned out to fit me perfectly and gorgeous in reality than in photos, I would never have imagined to find something like this in such short notice without the help of this lady!

What can I say? A perfect experience. Staff were more than helpful, kind and they really got me out of a bind. A certain bridal shop in hounslow, on the Hanworth Road at the back of the treaty centre really let me down and two weeks before my wedding my wedding dress still had not arrived. I contacted Fairytale London panicking and their staff were not only understanding but also went above and beyond to get me a dress ordered and fitted within a week, which is no easy task due to my size. I really appreciate all they have done for me to make my bad experience better. I would reccomend this shop to anybody and everybody. More...

My experience in Fairytale was great and I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for bridesmaid dresses/bride dress or just a good looking party dress. The prices are in all range and there are plenty of choices and different brands. All dresses can be customized (colors, patterns, cut etc). I was looking for 4 dresses and the time frame was very short but they managed to get it done very quickly thanks to the super rush order but also to the quick alterations which I'm very happy with. Lou and Mei showed lots of patience and good advice. I can see they both really enjoy what they're doing and want us to be perfect for the D-day! Thanks a lot again for their help and kindness! Me and my mum went in to find a bridesmaid dress for me for her wedding in June, and we found the most perfect dress in the sale which was around 3/4 sizes too big! It was the only one and it was perfect in colour and style (when tied in) and Mai (one of the lovely girls who works there) sorted us out, put some cups into the dress and made it the perfect size for me! We were so happy with and it surprised that we didn’t have to go back again, as it fit perfectly the first time she had done it! I have now had the pleasure of buying two beautiful evening gowns at Fairytale, wonderfully assisted and advised by staff who were kind, attentive and thoroughly experienced. I have found it hugely difficult to find anything I like that fits and flatters my shape elsewhere. The ladies at Fairytale have helped me get two gowns that are being altered to exactly my size and make me feel confident, I will wear them for the rest of my life. I was very happy with the service I received from Fairytale London. I first had an appointment in August 2017 where I received expert help and got to try on lots of dresses. I had a further two appointments before I finally made my decision and I never once felt rushed or under obligation to purchase. Just picked up my wedding dress after my final fitting and am over the moon. I would highly recommend Fairytale. Mai was fantastic, she took the time during my first appointment to show me not only a range of dresses but also managed to pick out perfectly the style I was looking for. She is very welcoming and relaxed which was great given I was actually very nervous trying on dresses for the first time! At my last fitting today my dress needed some small alterations but which ended up taking a very long time but Rela was entirely professional and went the extra mile to make sure it was what I wanted. I can just say AMAZING experience.. The shop is fantastic and the staff very passionate and professional...My wedding dress is still in working because i am pregnant, but i am sure that will be perfect for my big day. I was really happy when i walk in and i founded the dress in my condition and withouth much time..It was like unbelievable and and not possible for me..but it happens. I usually very rarely leave a review unless I have been really impressed. Thank you to Lulu and the team for my amazing wedding dress, I honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! It’s very rare to find someone so compassionate as Lulu about her brides. She saw my vision and my mother’s one and gave me the perfect dress! The attention to detail was amazing and she also hand made part of my wedding dress which gave it the extra wow factor. Appointments were booked in and never cancelled and they were always able to quickly rearrange if I was unable to make it, fittings were carried out and I was never rushed and spoilt with the time I spent with them during appointments, honestly words can’t describe how happy I am. We are sorry that you weren't satisfied with your second visit with us, as your first visit for your bridal alterations was a success.
You came to us with an evening dress bought online from a unknown Chinese website. Bare in mind the evening dress was extremely faulty already which made some of the labour extremely difficult as we tried to fix it, even though these faults weren't done by us.The alterations cost 120 pounds because of the labour, the nature of the alterations needed and the amount faults the dress was in already (levelling the different lengths of the hem, the left side was shorter than the right, restyling the body of the dress because you couldn't get into it properly, replacing the zip with a longer zip, adding bones, taking in the dress from the sides and over the busts and restitching the embroidery on the dress.) When you came back to the store and tried your dress on you said you were happy with it despite being asked if you would like any further changes as you mentioned it was a little big and you declined and left happy. Once again very sorry you were not satisfied with the price of the alterations, however we did all about what needed to be done and the cost of the labour before hand and you agreed. if you need any assistance in the future please don't hesitate to contact us.

I can honestly say hand on heart, I have had the best experience with this shop. I purchased a wedding dress from here and from the second I walked into the shop on the first occasion, to the moment I left, 6 separate appointments later they have been amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble, all the staff are so lovely and they genuinely share your excitement for the big day, by ensuring your dress is perfect! The lady who did the alterations even came in on her day off to do my final fitting, as it was so close to the big day! I had many alterations and everytime they knew what was to be done and they did it so well ...my dress fits like a glove and looks absolutely amazing! Wow what an incredible place. Visited with the intention of just looking and trying a few dresses on. The service is absolutely amazing and very professional, the ladies are super passionate at what they do.
Am pleased to say that I actually found and purchased 2 evening dresses and couldn't be more happier.

Going through the reviews i will honestly say the service is excellent and I don't believe most of the reviews made. They are very patient and most samples are size 8 and 10. I highly recommend fairytale london to any bride to be I was reluctant to see Rula due to many reviews but hand on heart she is very professional and she knew the dress that suits our needs also discussed these reviews with her she said we do our best to please and serve our wonderful brides. And any one has a problem he can always come back to me and ill sort it out and make you leave my shop with a big smile. All I can say is A M A Z I N G experience!
I found my dream dress at Fairytale 3 months before my wedding. I had several fittings as there were a lot of alterations to be made.
Rola went out of her way to make sure my dress was designed perfectly. I wear a headscarf so she handmade the head piece with the same material as the dress. The final look was stunning!
I picked up my finished beautiful dress a week ago and I cannot wait for the big day! The whole team have been fantastic! Thank you so so much!

My first visit to Fairytale London was not positive, I was seen by Rula who only allowed me to try on four dresses and I felt a lot of pressure to buy one of them. On my second visit, I worked with May and Fatima, both were extremely helpful, patient and when I asked for opinions extremely honest. I got married three weeks ago and everyone commented on how awesome my dress was. Both May and Fatima were great to work with, I was happy with the fittings and generally got a great service.
