Kadzo was incredible to work with! We hired her and her team to do our dessert table and our seating chart display for our wedding. She was responsive, helpful, kind, and professional the entire way through the planning process! We spoke on the phone multiple times and she made it easy to track payments through her online system. I had expectations for the dessert table and they blew those out of the water! The cupcakes and chocolate covered pretzels were delicious! We worked with Kadzo and Rachel from Fairy Godmother Events for day-of coordination for our October 19, 2019 wedding with 120 guests. We'd planned our wedding ourselves but about 4 months before the actual date, we realized we didn't want to be dealing with vendors or questions from guests on the day itself.From the outset, as I called around to multiple day-of coordinators, I was set on working with Kadzo and Rachel. Their complete professionalism and years of experience was immediately clear. The moment we hired them, I felt more at ease.In our planning calls, they asked every question imaginable - ones we'd never even begun to consider - and helped us craft an exhaustive timeline and decor plan.On the day of the wedding, I felt like I didn't have to do a thing except get married. Our decor was gorgeous and exactly what I'd envisioned - the team executed it to a T. Rachel dealt with multiple curve balls and responded so swiftly and quietly that I had no idea anything had gone awry until after the fact. She knew exactly what merited involving one of us, and when to delegate a decision to our maid of honor.I can unequivocally say that hiring Rachel and Kadzo was one of the best decisions we made in the entire wedding planning process. The peace of mind that their clear, calm decision making and planning expertise brought was worth every penny. And for the quality of their services, they are a steal. I hired Kadzo and Rachel for my month of wedding coordination. I wasn't originally planning to hire a planner and thought I could accomplish it all.
Of course, work was too demanding and I just couldn't plan all the details remotely without some extra help. I found Fairy Godmother Events to be reasonably priced and I really enjoyed my first call with Kadzo. Although neither had worked the Baltimore of Museum of Art previously, they both indicated a strong interest in the venue and were more than happy to visit in order to get a real understanding of the lay of the land.
Rachel was my main contact, but Kadzo was there every step of the way to offer any additional advice. They both offered very meticulous notes after the walkthrough and highlighted several issues that I never previously considered. I would definitely recommend both for your planning needs!
P.S. For any remote brides, I would recommend more phone calls than emails. I had a tendency to send emails late at night because of my work schedule, but phone calls were definitely more helpful and avoided some of the confusion that happened through email.

I’m so glad I used fairy godmother events for my daughters 5th birthday. They really delivered and set up a nice treat table for my daughter’s frozen themed party. I’m definitely going to use them again and would recommend them to my family and friends. Our treat table was the center of attraction at the party grounds. Kadzo and her team were nothing short of a miracle - in a crunch, I had to get my wife's 30th birthday plan in under a week and on a holiday weekend. She and her team were able to come in, hook me up with decor, a bartender, and a cake in no time and it turned out absolutely perfectly. Kadzo was a godsend! We were planning a destination wedding w/ a planner overseas, and hired Kadzo to help plan/execute a reception back in the States after the wedding. We were so stressed about the wedding, that I needed someone to plan the reception pretty much on their own (with our input of course), and Kadzo did that. She was very responsive, transparent, and got things done. Friends and family even told me after the reception how wonderful, friendly, and professional she was. My mom said, "She came up to me and chatted and hugged me like we'd known each other for years!" Even at the end of the evening, as she was starting to clean up, she was awesomely stealthy - folding up a few chairs, stopping to chat with people, picking up a few things, mingling some more, etc. It was so subtle, which I loved. I hired Kadzo as the day of coordinator for my wedding this past weekend. From my initial conversation with Kadzo I had very good vibes. She made me feel comfortable and gave me advice of what to look for in a day of coordinator, even if I chose not to go with her. We had our initial consultation and leading up to the wedding that she was always available by email and/or text in case I had questions or concerns. Or needed advice on something for the wedding. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. Everything was so beautiful. She and her assistant Rachel (whom she included later at no additional charge) were great. We had a rainy wedding, which always makes this more challenging. Even with the rain the crew set everything up, and made last minute changes to accommodate the weather, they even ran to Michaels and Home Depot at the last minute. What do you love most about your job?
I have 18 years of experience in the service industry for a reason... I love to provide incredible service! Every event is a new opportunity to help bring someone's vision to life, and make a special day less burdensome for our clients. The only thing I love more than the work itself, are the clients whom we serve.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My business started organically! I was the Gallery Manager for a local art gallery (Serengeti Gallery), and found myself hosting events as a way to bring in clients. I quickly realized that something I had always done as a past-time or hobby, was truly a passion!
Why should our clients choose you?
I want to make using a Planner accessible and easy! We are friendly, affordable and execute well-organized and beautiful events. It’s the easiest thing in the world to pick up the phone and talk to us. If we can help, we will. Period.
