What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
It's a story not a photo... It's a person not a job... Remember to have fun, remember these photos will last a lifetime and always have memories tied to them so make them good memories of an amazing day, an amazing shoot, and amazing event.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are you looking for in the video? Did you see a video you'd like to replicate? Is there something we can do to make this experience memorable for you?
What do you love most about your job?
For the last 27 years behind the camera, what I love best is the variety. Always challenged, always new people I am meeting, new clients, new friendly faces, sometimes scared faces but getting people to feel comfortable in front of the camera is a fun assignment to get to know them, get them comfortable and then get them smiling and laughing and having fun.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I loved working freelance at a company and to them it was all about the bottom line.. they were bought out and told all of the freelancers they were making half of their rate as before. I didn't want to be somewhere that, the bottom line not the product, not the experience or the people who made what they were selling didn't matter at all. I started my business the next day and vowed to make a difference in the community. I create dozens of videos for non profits, as donations or 75% off my prices because they need me and I have the skills and abilities to help them get out there in a bigger way. I joined a board of directors because I wanted to make a difference in my community as my small business. I want to be a role model for other women in male dominated career fields that it is possible to be successful and do what you love.

I love what I do and have done if for 2 decades. I bring my innate mom-abilities to you in addition to my talents from 27 years behind the camera. I will make you look good and feel good in front of the camera. I will encourage you and lift you up, as any good mom does. I will make sure your necklace looks good other nuances that only a mom would see. I want you to succeed, I want you to be happy, I want you to love the experience we have together and I want you to feel like you are being understood and listened to, I can do all that for you.
