Q&A

A natural spur of the moment photo goes a long way to capturing a lifetime of memories in a split second. I prefer to add a little fun into the formals then everyone can just relax. The rest of the day is spent capturing the mood and atmosphere of the day from a distance.

Most important question I ask is 'are you happy with natural style photography with natural colours, contrast and tone'. If the answer is positive then I arrange a 30 minute introductory visit to hopefully gel with any prospective client and make sure we are suitable for each other.

I love the involvement and the huge responsibility of capturing photos that tell the true story of a wedding day or personality in a portrait, whether that be a person or pet.

My love of photography was nurtured in the late 1960's when, as a child, I used a small cupboard in my bedroom as a darkroom. I would spend hours taking photos on roll film and then eagerly awaiting the final results as the images magically appeared on photographic paper before my very eyes. This era was before colour film was affordable to the masses. Photography being a lifelong passion it was a natural progression to eventually become a pro tog.

I offer timeless, traditional style photography - your photographs will contain natural colour, contrast and tone - I do not desaturate colours or blow the highlights as is the fad at the moment.

Whether you choose a short ceremony only package or a full blown wedding photography package covering the whole day, the service and attention to detail is the same.

Wedding photography is an opportunity for me to be part of your big day and to help create memories by telling a story of the whole event.
