Would not recommend using Eyecandy. The company acted very unprofessionally and it has cost me a lot of money.
Emma did some work in my house last year and one of the things was making us up a bespoke set of curtains to tie in with our living room.
Unfortunately the curtains she delivered were not the right ones - rather than soft grey ones we ordered Emma delivered curtains in a striking black and white pattern which jarred with the rest of the room.
Emma acknowledged the mistake straight away and promised she would replace them. But after a year of me chasing said that actually she wasn’t going to replace them, but was keeping the money anyway. She blamed her supplier and said the only way I could get the ones I ordered is if I paid an additional £1300. She tried to convince me the curtains looked ok as they were but they don't - if I'd have wanted curtains that didn't match the rest of the room I would have chosen them myself, not paid an interior designer a fortune to make them for me.
It ended up going to the small claims court where the judge agreed that I was due a refund and gave Eyecandy a CCJ to pay me £2909. However Emma refuses to accept this and says she will not pay.
And it looks like she never will - because after finishing my project Emma set up another company called 'Eyecandy Interior design' and she says all work she has done since my project has been through the new company. So even though 'Eyecandy Interior design' has money 'Eyecandy Interior design Ltd' does not - so Emma says she has no money.
Of course I shouldn't have paid for the curtains if they were not right in the first place, but I believed Emma when she said she would change them. This is the exchange below that convinced me to pay the final invoice:
"I'm totally happy to settle up, but need confirmation from you what's happening with the curtains, as currently we've paid for curtains we don't have yet. Can you let us know whether we will be receiving the curtains we ordered, or whether we will need to send them back for a refund?"
" Hi Caroline you will be receiving the curtains you ordered even if I have to pay for them myself! I need to settle up with XX in the meantime for the sofas so if you could just pay the outstanding invoice then we are all up to date? I will sort the curtains for you as soon as they are back at work.”

I used eye candy interior design first for an ‘inspiration hour’ to get some ideas for our living room. Emma was brilliant-really helpful and gave lots of ideas ranging from large scale projects to smaller ‘quick fixes’. We then worked together to develop a colour scheme and chose some fabric for curtains and cushions to suit this. Emma was very flexible around the quote, enabling me to prioritise some aspects of the project over others and to work through the project in my own time which was brilliant as I had a baby 2 weeks after our initial meeting!!
