What makes a great website?
Ease of navigation, less is more philosophy, clear crisp graphics. Well written organized data. Today websites are viewed 70% of the time by mobile systems. CSS are critical and compatibility testing is required across multiple platforms.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How do you plan to use your media?
Who is your target audience?
What do you expect the media to do?
What longevity do you hope the media will have? I.e how long do you plan to use it?
How many mediums do you plan to use the media on?
Is there footage or graphics you will provide?
Is there an existing older version of the media we can see / use / produce from?
Do you have the time necessary to help the development, provide Intelligence, materials required?
Are you aware of the cost of the type of services you're asking for? i.e do you know how to compare apples to apples?
If this is graphic, are you aware of the final delivery requirements of your publisher? Can we contact them?
If this is a video are you aware of the deliverables required by your distributor i.e TV station, Social media requirements, Film or SVOD, VOD distribution requirement?
If you want Color Grading services are you aware of the color space you want us to work on? I.e Rec709, Rec2020.

What inspired you to start your own business?
The capacity to do better work that inspires and competes with huge companies was a large incentive. Because we work directly for our clients we offer the freshest and least compromised creative services in the industry.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are the best at what we do. We have proven this our ourselves, time and time again when going against some of the largest advertising and post production facilities in the US. i.e when working with BP during the 2012 Olympics we won the contact competing our creative against the creative of a large NY advertising company (who should remain nameless). When delivering Color grading finals for an executive producer who provided us with a nearly unfixable feature film and that same film wins Best Picture in an international festival, and theatrical distribution. Well... it explains why we're loved by our clients.

We offer multi-award winning editorial services.
We can take over an edit in progress. I.e if you have a project which needs professional help. We have all top editing software - AVID, EDIOUS, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Pro X, others. If we can EDL, XML into our systems as required.
Color Grading & Mastering
Colour grading is at the very heart of what we do. Senior colorist William Collins heads up all color work done at Eye Candy's color suite. Working on occasion with associated Yun Kum both trained by Digital Vision.
We offer HDR and theatrical play back options including a full DCI-spec theatrical projection and theatrical Dolby processing up to 7.1.
We offer Drama/TV & Commercials grade suite with HDR/709HD depending on your work requirements. Client monitoring and surround sound is available in our suite.
Import for comforting via XML, AMA, Avid, Adobe CS and other supporting software.
Our facility features a Raid6 with capacity for multiple concurrent feature films at 4k or 8K uncompressed playback.
Our Nucoda Film Master features full DVO effects allowing many of the typical services often done in multiple softwares to happen in a single box, preventing typical resolution and color shift problems. Seamless integration and prefect match if our specialty proving our clients academy delivery product from a single box.
The following are done in a single operation within Nucoda often times as part of the color project.
Compositing
Creating an illusion by compositing visual elements from different sources to one seamless shot.
Matte Painting
Create custom plates which can be used in your green screens. Have it done by PRO, our artist are so good you will gasp.
Clean up / Paint
Remove wires & modern elements in the shots.
Rotoscoping
Used for bezier and key frame work used for masking out parts of the image, usually for putting other elements behind. Like fog or dangerous creatures.
Tracking / Matchmoving
Tracking markers in a characters face for replacement or alteration with 3D, for removal of high-contrast points in an image during color grading, to put background plates on the image. Through match-moving we can add elements even though the camera is moving.
Character Generation (NOT PART OF COLOR)
Integration of the character is part of color. Create 3D character and insert them into the scene seamlessly. (Ask us about out top of the line 3D services).
