I just had my hair cut here for the first time 5 days ago. Its always nerve racking going to a new place, but I was blown away at the attentiveness of Megan. She listened to what i wanted and even knew what would look good for my face shape. I am so happy with my choice of trying Exposed. she cut about 18 inches off gave me a nice layered haircut. She also gave me additional options of places to donate my hair since the place i was going to was not longer accepting donations at this time. I highly recommend this salon. More...

I have been going to Anna since she was a college student in Naperville working not too far from where her Salon is now. I've watched her grow into a compassionate woman with so much to offer to her clients and continues to learn new techniques. She has started up and relocated her Salon and continues to grow her business with an excellent staff along with wonderful stylists. The stylist I had been going to forever, decided to further his career and moved on, leaving me and many clients high and dry. Since then, I’ve seen 3 other stylists, who just could not pull off a partial highlight and hair cut! I’ve spent so much money in the last few months trying to find “the one” again.
Exhausted and an emotional wreck about it all, I walked into Exposed, explained my stressfull journey in trying to find someone who gets me and my hair, and without hesitation, I was told that Santos is the one.
They did not lie! Had my first appointment with Santos’s, and I’ll tell you what...he delivered 100 times over.
He was quick, extremely thorough and detailed with my highlights and hair cut. He brought me back from the very dark place I was in.
I have not been this happy with my hair in the longest time!

I used Exposed to do my wedding party's hair and makeup. They were so great to work with! I had my hair trial and the first one I had looked beautiful but wasn't exactly what I was looking for so when I came in for the second they comped the fee which was super nice of them to do (especially since it wasn't their fault). My wedding party looked beautiful and they also made me feel great on my wedding day! We also started getting ready pretty early so after moving around alot they also went through and touched up everybody before leaving. So great to work with. I found exposed salon in online about 3 years back and from the first time I walked in, I stuck with them. I am not a person who trusts my hair with someone easily. I never felt like giving them a feedback until I was there with them. Now that I have moved out of IL, I miss them already. They don’t just give you a haircut, they make you feel you are the prettiest in the world. I feel that’s something everyone deserves when they go in for a makeover/haircut or be it anything. They really do take lot of effort in doing so, they do the job right and I would say they know what they are doing.Megan is the best, I always prefer her, I am sensitive to pain and she takes good care even when she needs to detangle my hair sometimes. She gave me suggestion and tips to make my frizzy hair look way better. LOVE IT!Great job from my stylist Anna! She did a fantastic job highlighting and styling my hair plus She was the sweetest person. I also had an olaplex treatment added to my appointment. (Highly recommend) I will be going back for sure and I finally found a stylist I trust...plus I will be taking my little one to her when it's time for a cut because she has curls and not only does Anna know how to cut curly hair but she has curly hair herself so it adds even more trust! Also: Jenn shampooed and assisted in the treatment and preparation, she was extremely personable and kind as well. I am sorry others had a bad experience here but I just had to add something. I can't say enough about the place. I called at 9:06am and was taken within the hour. Loren, the receptionist, worked hard to get me in. Luckily for me, Megan was my stylist. I let her do whatever was necessary to fix the horrible cut i had from another salon. She listened to my few guidelines and she was off. I highly recommend this salon for haircuts. I've been consistently getting my hair cut by Jenee for about two years now. I have changed my hairstyle a lot over the years, and Jenee has always been the laid-back stylist I've turned to when wanting to take a bit of a risk. I walked in with medium length ombre hair and plenty of dead ends that reached just past my shoulders and asked Jenee to chop it off to an extra curly chin-length bob. A few months later, I had her cut it into a shorter, edgier pixie cut. When I decided to grow my hair out, I went back in for a trim to avoid the dreaded awkward mullet phase that comes when you're growing out a short cut. The only reservation might apply to women of color: I have hair that is thin and wavy which most American stylists are trained to cut, but like many brown girls know, it's pretty difficult to lift color on our extremely dark brown hair - something that the stylists didn't seem too aware of. I have gotten pretty used to dying my hair on my own, and have determined that I need some pretty hefty dye or some pre-bleaching, but I decided I'd at least get burgundy peek a boos in my non-virgin hair professionally done. I appreciated skipping pre-bleaching to avoid extra damage to my hair, but my 40 bucks ended up yielding pretty invisible results. I eventually dyed my hair again myself to bring out the color. They were running behind, so the receptionist did my shampoo then used a deep conditioning treatment that I kept on while I waited (15 minutes). Jasmine was my stylist and I definitely recommend her. I showed her a picture of what I was going for, then she adjusted it to work with my face shape and styling preferences. Kaitlyn has been doing my hair since she was in cosmo school.  I am extremely picking and tend to go from black to blonde then back to black quite often.  I have gone to a variety of salons in the Lombard/Villa Park Area...and there are a lot to choose from, but I will continue to come to Exposed to see Kaitlyn.  She is never afraid to try new things or tell me what she wants to do when I am indecisive.  She is super friendly, and fun to chat with.   She is good with Short hair cuts which is a hige plus for me, since my hair nevers goes past my shoulders.You should all try her out! I had recently moved to Lombard in search of a salon that wasn't overpriced, snobby or pretentious. Exposed was absolutely fabulous. My hair thick black hair had grown from a lob to unruly layers that were constantly flipping out. Janae my stylist cut my hair. I could tell she was really concentrating...while working her magic.
